1. Y you are right but that change with the realignment and Manvel and Pearland moved into that district. Know PAM needs to focus on winning district so they won't have to see those teams in round one like last year. Plus stay healthy there is always great talent but the backups always lack experiance on the varisty level.
 2.
My argument for list is this: Larry Nueman- Ned (This coach has got the most out of his teams with major injury issues to previous teams and still finds ways to win games and make playoffs every year) Jeff Matthew- Vid ( Vidor was the red headed step child until Jeff took over and planted the winning seed in the players at Vidor. He turned a bottom dweller program into one of the strongest programs in the area. The big thing is he's done it for the past several years. The question will be, Can he do it with Montana gone?) WT Johnson- Newton ( This team fell to the ground after having so much success, and then came Coach Johnson and turned it around and now you have a powerhouse once again) Barbay- Coldspring ( For a long time, nobody in this area ever heard of Coldspring. The school is hidden in the piney woods and didn't have much. In steps another Barbay, and BAM, he turns Coldspring into a legitimate powerhouse. Record speaks for itself) Cornel Thompson- WOS ( A rich tradition school already, but was fluttering a little bit. Everyone knew coach Thompson was a great assistant, and then he was given the Head coach job after the great one retired. He has brought back that chain gang defense and the Mustang Swagger) Honorable Mention: Kenny Harrison- Memorial (I've always thought that PAM has underachieved since combining all three schools. We know they have talent  with 7 or 8 kids a year signing college scholarships, but I'm waiting for the continious long runs in the playoffs with atleast an appearance in a title game. There's no reason why PAM shouldn't go 3 to 4 rounds every year in the playoffs. Until that happens, IMO coach Harrison stays honorable mention. I remember when he first took over, PAM fans were calling him Xbox Kenny, ya'll do remember that right?)
I agree with your list but PAM going 3 to 4 rounds deep every year that's not reasonable. With talent there is replacments and growth that needs to take place. I think that once a team has had that long run you dealing with 16 to 17 yr old kids. The ones that come back he needs to find away to make them hungry year in and year out. Being in Regional 3 with some above average teams and normally 2 or 3 stud teams from the greater Houston area we must be reasonable with expectations. Numbers are nt everything in football but when you going up against schools with 3000-4000 kids with good coaching staff that's a uphil climb. I say PAM should be in postion to compete on the Regional level every other year. That's reasonable expectations. As good as Lincoln basketball was through it's history you coudn't expect to go to state EVERY year.

Larry Neumann--Nederland 2. WT Johnston--Newton 3. Bryan Barbay--Coldspring 4. Kenny Harrison--PA Memorial 5. Jeff Mathews--Vidor
IMO Cornel Thompson and Kenny Harrison are about equal. They're good, but with the talent they have on those teams, they should be going deeper then one round in the playoffs. ie. PAM
Harrison Year 1- 1 round Harrison Year 2- 3 rounds Harrison Year 3- 5 Rounds Harrison Year 4- 1 round Talent has always been there before Harrison became HC, the coaching was the problem above his level.
This is so true no one says Nick Saban can't coach and he has had 4 of the top recruiting classes in the llast 5 years. You still have to coach the kids up. The talent has always been at PAM but it was never coached up.
 5. Can't wait to see him run he is a horse. Reminds me of that Alfred Morris uy from the Redskins last night. One cut and down hill baby all night.
 6. I know the rumor around the staduim was that he injured his shoulder ? Anyone have a update on his status ?
 7.
Has the GT QB been pressured much in any game this year?  And if so, how did he perform?
Sounds like they will protect him with a lot of quick hitters and three step drops. This is Week 14 of the season there is plenty of tape on both teams and good coaches will break the tape down and have game plans ready. It will be interesting to see the in game adjustments by each staff. That's always key this time of year. More importantly Is Hopkins shoulder ok cause when he in there Nederland tends to wear teams down. He is a very physical runner.
 8.
Love how each team we play each week we have some rookies from our opponent come on here, make an account, and talk trash like they own the place. Haters gonna hate! 8)
LOL I was just thinking that. You must have a pretty boring life to do that. I mean there are enough bigger forums to go and talk your team up.
 9. It's funny how all the Navasota posters are Freshman psters. I hope the WO-S fans can find them other the game. LOL
 10. I was talking to some buddies and Steele did the something to Port Arthur Memorial last year. I saw at least 4 game videos on them that Saturday before the game then on that Monday I looked again they were gone. LOL I don't think it would of helped in the out come at all.
 11. I thought Dawson Coach was a little on the arrogant side. More like we show up we win approach. How else do you explain going for the countless number of 4 Down attempts ? When he had to know that Nederland D was for real. He had numerous chances to punt Nederland deep into there end of the field and refuse to accept the fact the Nederland D was stopping his offense. I'm glad the Bulldogs should him that no matter who you are or what your rank is the game is played on the field.
 12. Give me LaPorte in a close one but to much on the defensive side of the ball. I think there a knew sheriff in town. Both teams will want it BAD
 13. Kid is getting looks from TCU and Iowa St. He throws a real good ball. Reed should have a couple more hundred yards and about 7-9 more touchdowns if it wasn't for the WR crop.
 14.
IMO, Mitchell was the most dangerous QB in the district this season...the kid is a really good player and with his size and arm, he can play at the next level...he reminded me of Trey Green somewhat, but I do feel as though Trey had a better supporting cast...that makes a difference
I said this in a post leading up the the Nederland game. It's a shame that Lamar has offered some players in this area but not the good ones that produce on the field yet. I'm not surprise though they haven't offered any one to note this year.
 15. I as a Memorial fan with zero bias will say that the non district schedule can and will get beefed up in the future. Although, the non district schedule had nothing to do with finishing 8-2 overall and 4-2 in district with loses coming to Laporte and NorthShore. Each game came down to the last drive so there is nothing to be ashame of. Vidor and Port Arthur years were mirror images of each other. I know that Vidor could at least win two playoff games if it's avoids Summer Creek in the first round. Memorial would of done the saome thing had it avoid Manvel in the first round. So there is no harm in losing to good well coached football teams.

There was no way those school was going to play PAM with those 4-6 or 3-7 record man. Hopefully now with the success that PAM is having Caoch Kenny can call up the big schools and play them. I'm sure that tell last year Katy Lufkin and Pearland had no ideal that Port Arthur changed schools to just one school. Port Arthur Memorial was repesenting about like Thomas Jefferson was in the 90's.
Those schools knew PAM was before then. Played... Pearland in 2nd POST in'02 (won) Katy in 3rd rd PO in '02 (lost) Lufkin came to PAM (whatever yr D.C. Bryant was a SR)
Yes we played them in the playoffs. Shortly after that thank god they went to 4 teams in the playoffs leaving us only having to beat RSS and Humble Kindwood to make the playoffs are PAM would of been in a serious playoff drought. Respect is earned on the field not in the eyes of random fans. All the talent for about 5 years and no one I said no one was going D1. Now PAM is on the rise and the whole area region and state can see. Respect has started to be EARNED on the field. ( Like I said ) Just four years ago we were playing the Woodlands losing 42-00 at half and the second half was a running clock.

 18. Good win by LaPorte the game was what I thought it would be and then some. Special teams can and will cost a good team a playoff game we need to tighten that up. The run backs against Northshore and the missed PAT from the LaPorte game. Didn't like the start of the game from the Titans stand point not enough fight to open the game. They had to know that LP would bring it after last year lost in the Regional Finals. Overall though the staff made adjustments at half and had a chance to win the game that is all you can hope for when playing a good team.
 19. All these write ups look like what the non PAM fans said before the Clear Springs game last year. These will no doubt be a good game and if the Titans limit the turnovers they will be ok.
 20. Coach Kenny Harrison aka X Box Kenny replaced his whole offense from last year Region 3 winning team and hasn't missed a beat.
 21.
Hate to bust the Nederland Bulldogs bubble, but Nederland is NO Summer Creek.  The Broncos will rebound and this will be a great game.
Remember me the guy that predicted after the Dayton BHill game that Summer Creek would whip Dayton pretty bad. (42-7) Well I will say this Dayton has been to the third round every year since 2005 they should accept a 9-1 record with a first round defeat and be happy that it will be considered a down year. Nederland wins this game with there defense not there offense. 23-14 Dogs
 22. I'm sorry but once again we forgot about Ricky Fisk who is matching Singleton's last year winner number this year.
 23. West Brook La Porte Crosby Dayton Nederland Ozen Livingston Vidor Texas City Jasper Hardin-Jefferson Bridge City WO-S Cleveland Huffman Liberty Anahuac East Chambers Kirbyville Newton Deweyville Colmesneil Evadale High Island West Sabine
 24.
in regards to poohs statement,CS had some injuries that game as well as LP. imo, that would be a bad game to judge what LP is about. last weeks game will be by far the best to go on,simply because ALL starters were back and healthy. LP0175,you are slightly incorrect about PAM's defense. it's the exact same minus 5 guys. 4 lines backers and one saftey/db. otherwise, PAM has 7 returning starters on defense. yes the linebackers were a big cog in the clock, but they are still just as good.
Close but not as good and last year team was able to stay off the field in the rematch. The first game in the second half they wore the kids out in the second half. The Northshore and Deer Park second halfs were scary as the defense. They gave up several big runs and key conversions. LP D is more then Hoza. They are all sound fundmentally I want to test the secondary. Force them to cover cuz I think LP hasn't saw a WR core near as good as PAM and a passer like Fisk.
