1. There was no helping Ozen last year Brady could of lined up at QB. PAM was just that much better then they were last year. This year just like in the Central game I expect Ozen to put forth a better effort. They will come out and play with revenge on there mind. At the end of the day the PA front 4 will make life pretty hard on the offense. I do think that if PAM can't find a running game this week that spells trouble. We will outweigh Ozen front 7 by a decent number. We should be able to see a few running lanes this weekend. PAM 34-21
After what I heard he did in the jv game I say bring him up
I could be wrong but no one gameplans for the JV game. It's the most useless game in sports. The Might mites game have more of a game plan.
 3.
I am certainly not a png fan but this qualifies as a little bit too much kid bashing for my taste...16/32 for 150 is far from a bad stat line...I didn't see the game obviously, but it sounds like he did a solid job
You must also put in there he didn't turn the ball over either. If you went to the game against Silsbee they stayed in the game off PNG turnovers. The QB play from AJ Smith was about as good as it can get on the road and his first varsity start. Let's remember there isn't a special player on the team name Nelson anymore. Nelson was gifted as a WR and stretched defenses for PNG the past couple of years. The kid number 85 is not bad at all but like AJ i will take sometime to get used to the Friday night lights.
 4. Take player groups not players. Ex The PAM WR not John LaDay
 5.
I see this game going into OT. PAM wins but ---------> DONT THROW TO TONY BROWN SIDE!
Why not !!!! We have a D 1 WR and last year D 1 WR made him look normal. Throw at him Laday Can ball too. PAM fears no one including Brown. We will just be wise with our shots at him.
 6. Didn't make the game but had serveral reports saying the team lacked a lot of discipline. As far as down on the team I didn't go to the game but it feels good to get on here and see the comments aren't bias like several other fan bases on SETx. There is no harm in saying the truth. As for as other coaches reading this Really if they doing that to get a edge the Titans are really in there head. 80 percent of these ppl on SETx have a low football IQ and are just on here as the team shines.
 7. I think Ozen outplayed them last year year. The game turned on a kickoff recovered in the endzone. I say Ozen 21-17
 8. I this Central can gain a lot from this game and not even win. If they can lose by single digits there outlook on the season should change. he past few years were pretty bad. In 2010 Mitchell was so nervous he couldn't remember the plays he was calling. One play the coaches had to remind him that he was to be in the shotgun not under center that play. 2011 PAM first offensive play goes 70 yards to Seales on a hitch route. Anything within 14 points and Central should be happy.
 9. Behind that line hw will have no choice but too. LOL

We want them at full ranks and rested when we beat them so they won't cry about "missing a piece or two" or we "spent all our energy".  Thanks in advance.
You do realize we were "missing" several pieces the last time we met "IN RELIANT" right? ;)
Could have used them the following week 8)
Indeed true!
LP0175 I think we have given you credit for owning PAM in the past but you sound like you still haven't come to grips with the fact that we issued LP a beat down in the Realiant. That's total disrespect we can sit here and make excuses for the lost in October last year. The one play were Singleton overthrew Seales wide open in the middle of the field for a for sure TD with 3 minutes to go in the game. Not one person has brought that up on here PAM gave you credit as the district champs. You still refuse to came to grips that you would give back all those playoff and district wins over PAM for one Regional win in Dec 2011. That's a fact
 11. I've attened both the Soul Bowl and Mid County Madness and I have to say the reason mid county madness gets my vote is the long lasting rivalry. Man the Soul Bowl is about in year 15 years old. Mid County Madness has been almost a century. Plus it's just down right hate nothing more nothing less. The one thing I can say that when the PAISD killed the TJ vs LHS it killed a top 10 game. I loved the early 90's playing PNG Nederland and LHS all in a row to start the season at TJ.
 12. 21-5a dark horse Deer Park. I know they weill need to get used to the speed of the district

It's a scrimmage.  Get off the window ledges.  Plenty of things to see on film, evaluate, and learn.  Plenty of time to teach and get better.  Ned's DC Delbert Spell can teach. 2. As long as Delbert Spell is the DC at Nederland, the Bulldog defense will be just fine.  I've seen it turn out that way too many times.  D. Spell has done his part to chip away at the PN-G 48-33-7 series lead. 3. It's not where you start, it's where you finish.  Pass judgment in Week 10, not week 0. When PN-G travels to Texas City, I want all of the Indians' weaknesses to be exposed and all the ugly to come out and show itself on offense, defense, and the kicking game.  We have plenty of time to evaluate, learn, teach, and get better.  It's not where you start, it's where you finish. Go Indians.  Peace.
Well put by a PNG fan that's being a realist. Nederland key will be to see the OL three weeks from now. I also see the backup RB Burton runs harder behind the OL then the starter. He clearly has the longest run plays in both scrimmages. Nederland may want to put the starter back at FB and let Burton carry the rock 20 times a games. Just a thought
That's Barton with an "A", he is a sophmore and I agree he may do better at TB rather than FB, I would like to see him get some carries (15-20) and see how he does, at this point what do you have to lose. Hopkins showed flashes last year but its been a slow start so far, not just for Hopkins but the entire offense, running and passing. If we cant run the ball our QB and WR's are going to have pick it up big time.
Ok my bad Barton with a "A" LOL !!!

It's also the reason we've been as successful as we have been.
Brenham fan you will say that you've been successful but in term you have done nothing for years. Every year the talent is there only to come up short

 17.
Holmes never played a full season so why does everyone think there will be such a dropoff for the Titans. The other RB's really carried the Titans. Very few outside peeps had heard of Seals until last season; I wonder why? He started every game as a junior. Our Cupboards are stacked.
His back up rushed for over 200 yeards in a playoff game no dancing straight downfield running.
Wanna bet a dinner on that in bold?
The running back will be a Sophmore?
Yep, same size & same speed as Holmes was starting out, IMO quicker feet. I think the Freshman has more upside but thats just my opinion.
Don't forget PAM had a hella of a WR that's at Ok St. He only had the best year in school history receiving . I more then think that John LaDay can get the job done down field. The key to PAM will be the OL. If they can replace the 4 starters that graduated on that side of the ball then the offense will roll to big numbers again. The coaches honor there seniors that have put in there time with the program. Year before last Seales was a 20 catch 300 yards and 2 TD. So I think LaDay made enough plays as a Jr to say that he is ready to breakout.
Touché, but we still beat Lincoln the last time we played them.  I know how Scooter loved those guys.  I think it was 2001 38-30 Brenham.  Good luck to Ozen this year.  Ask Kingwood Park what it's like to face the Cubs after you upset them the year before.
Still want take away from the pain of losing to them in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Come on tell the truth you thought hell we will score 50 on Ozen in this playoff game. As for as Scooter man we past Bmt we looking to stay on top as regional champs not be a flash in the pan. If we don't avg beating the Bmt schools by 17 points I'll be pissed.
 20. I still think that if the OL gives the skill players time the offense will be ok. Remember the 2011 squad didn't make it to the 7-7 in College Station. This year squad did. O really.
 21. Correct me if I'm wrng but wasn't it a kid name Dustin Marsh
 22. It's Port Arthur so plenty of talented big agile and fast players running all over the field. What can't be lost is the fact that the 2011 team had the best line play on both sides of the ball that PAM has ever had. The D line was big and quick enough to keep blockers of the LB. At least til the Steele game. The offensive line was big and agile enough to pass and run block well. So in the first few weeks I want to see the OL play that will open the holes for the talented skill players. Plus allow Fisk the time to find plenty of open WR down the field. I think the D line can actually be better then it was last year. There tons of size and quickness. This year secondary should be one of the finest in the area probably even the state. Tons of talent ball hawking DB ready to play.
 23. I see a lot of votes on here for PNG wr last year PAM had a pretty good one last year in Seales. He become the schools season record holder last year in a season. The kid put up 180 yards on LP defense in the playoff game and 120 in the regular season game last year. Anyone who watch LP play knows there D is what they hang there hats on. Nothing against Nelson.

I hope you knew that.  ;)
1st time for everything. dont underestimate.
Ozen fans have said that for i think 6 years already. LOL  ;D
BG just likes to start stuff, it's evident in his posts. We'd love to go undefeated even during PREseason, I'm not sure that a win/loss record against pam has any of the Panthers losing sleep. Sure that they'd rather be able to boast about being in the playoffs than winning a preseason game. It's funny that you started this post, a Steele fan thought I was one of you and asked if we were ready for our annual butt whooping...... ;D
You brought up PAM's 1(one)  lost to Steele against Ozens 6(SIX) to PAM. Due to the fact that one was preseason and the other was during the PO's, that would be like comparing Apples to Oranges.
The difference is that Ozen continued playing after the loss to pam. Pam did what after the loss to Steele? Don't worry, there'll be room for both of you at the top of the rainbow bridge  ;D
the difference is we were still playing after you guys got whipped twice by La Marque.  ;)
BG as a Titan fan I will borrow a line I read in the Ned vs Vidor thread. When we as PAM have to brag about beating Central and Ozen we have lost our swag. That what we as PAM are supposed to do if we expect to be playing in December. Losing to anyoine of these teams will show us we in for a long season. Our measuring tool in BMT is and always will be WB. We need to get our record on top vs WB. We owe them for the Micheals years and 47-15 in 2010.
