1.
Players on rivals mentioned from Steele QB: Tony Armstrong (3 star), 8th rated duel-threat QB in nation. Committed to Nebraska OL: Sean Benson, interests: (New Mexico, Oklahoma St, Rice, UTSA) DE: Eric Maus, interests: (Air Force, North Texas, SMU) CB: Evan Lyons, interests: (Houston, New Mexico, TCU, UTSA)
Sounds a lot like us as for as talent I think that this will basically be a home game for PAM. We will pack the house and cheer our Titans on to victory. Armstrong vs Singleton. Singleton is playing the postion at a all time high right now. We must not forget the threat of our special teams. Coach Harrison designed the perfect game plan last week going over the top of LaPorte first Singleton sitting in the pocket throwing A Rod like pass over the top of LaPorte. Seales looking like Calvin Johnson a man among boys catching passes short and deep taking them to the house. Holmes cutting in and out of the LaPorte D like a young LT in a Chargers uniform. Mayfield running tough like Darren Sproles. LaDay over the top down the seam like Reggie Wayne. A Jackson working the middle of the field like Wes Walker. The D looking like the old Wrecking Crew Defense of the 90's. PAM is clicking on all cylinders right now and most important at the right time. The only thing as fans and as coaches you would like is for your team to get better as the season goes. We have diffently done that. If we come out and play better then we did last week it will be lights out for Steele and there 27 game winning streak. We will 31- 20 PAM. In may Bart Scoot voice I can't wait.
 2. I'm not from West Brook but in the early 90's they had some loaded teams that where state ranked teams
 3.

What can PAM Do different this time to change the outcome.... not being sarcastic.... in their district meeting it looked to be a very close game? was it TO's? Penalties? bad clock management? just outplayed? just wondering...
Score touchdowns in the Red zone. In the first game we moved the ball at will we just didn't score TDs. Also keep them spread out and stretch the field to keep those lbs on there heels. I'm expecting an outstanding game!!!!!!  Also there will be know wind so we will be throwing the ball around, there lb's can't cover our wideouts.
Press the issue. Try not to sit on the lead this time. I think we went very conservative in the 4th quarter. If we also hit them deep to make them pay for attacking the line so hard on run plays. Seems like the LaPorte D is playing it's best at the right time. I think we need to flip the page this week and get to our other 5 plays in the playbook.
 4.
Go Mustangs!  Eliminate PAM again!
Man get on board. I can't belive you still showing up with your opinion after last week.
 5.
I do sit on our side from time to time but I pay for it. Its like all the negative peoplee sit next to me  and I could just scream. My Pooh its crazy how our fans look at you if you make some noise trying to support the team; Games are suppose to be loud and energized. People who dont like should stay home, for some its their first game of the season anyway.
As I say the wagon is rolling baby it's so full you have to get yr tickets early. Get on board !!!! LOL
I've been to a ton of Memorial games and have sat on the home side, sometimes with you.  The problem is the old school fans.  they're so busy screaming SFA, Lincoln, or T-J and don't realize that those teams don't exist anymore.  Let it go.  Root for these current kids.  They're a good team and need support.  I hear all this 'If this were at Lincoln' or 'we didn't have this problem at T-J.  The bad thing about it is that these old school dudes do this around recently graduated Memorial kids and players, teaching them the same foolishness.
I couldn't agree more. Still coming to games in the old school colors. Geesh. Let it go this years group of kids was 7-8 years old when the school switched.
 7.
That song is bad news and it has been since 2004; Im not a superstitous person but it is a song of relvalry. The actual name of it is Do what ya wanna. Im not a Mardi Gras fan so im probably in the minority here. I just wish they would wait till the end of games to play it or not at all. Our fans suck anyway thats why I sit on the visitors side. They loud about complaining and dissing the coaches but not yelling and screaming in support. [/quote To everyone on the forum Big D is calling us out. If he sits on Houston Memorial side let's make him jealous by making noise and supporting the team from now on( for the right reason). May he can see where Roger Clemens was geting the hook up form this week while he over there this week. LOL !!! I really think that fan support is a lost art there is a lot of games attend and all the fans do the that just sit there. I then paid my money I'm having a good time. Hint I do not get up with my umbreallas on this song.
 8. The best part about last year was getting beat by Houston Memorial the coaches shouldn't have no problems getting the team focus. We also must be aware of the subjective football calls this game. ( cuz there will be some just like last week) We take what they give us and force them out of there run game on O and open up a can of whip *** on Houston Memorial this year in a pay back game. I'm taking PAM 34-7. Some score as last year different way. This is were Houston Memorial lost of theat senior QB hurts. He was the difference last year running that zone read scheme.
 9. [quote name="I LUV MY CITY!!! The rest of the time they sit there like they are owed something. One thing I will say I don't like is when our band starts blasting music and we have the football. Someone needs to tell the band director that you blast the music when the other team has the ball. Like Clear Springs did and Houston Memorial will do Saturday  like they did last year. That's like band rule 101. Why would you make it harder for us to hear with the ball ?
dude in years of varsity play, i dont it Singleton has said "HIKE" one time. its all visual now between the QB and C, hince the C looking between his legs, for the signal from Singleton. i feel as if theband SHOULD play and play LOUD, doesnt matter if we have the ball or not. i tell you what, pass practice today and see what we have going on, i assure you that EITHER band playing affects the team.
It's not about saying hike but when we burning timeouts on the road in the third quater. We may need them in the 4th quater against Laporte cuz the calls and plays not right. That tells you why the band doesn't need to play. Most of the plays are called from the sidelines that means that attention to detail needs to be at a high. There is also changes made to the play called from the sidelines. No one said that you have to hear hike. I played at the college level and in pee wee league you are taught to watch the snap of the ball. It's a reason in the NFL the home team fans are quiet when they have the ball. Then again I must remember I'm talking about the new school era. Hell there is plenty talking during the national anthem. I'm just saying anyone that knows football knows that in close games timeouts are very vaulable. In hindsight had we not got a holding call on Saturday on 4th down with 4 minutes to go. We stuck with no timeouts left and less then 4 minutes to go in the game. I have attended my share of practices and when my kid is through playing I will still be supporting the Titans. I just think we on to something big this year and in the future. We also need to make sure we start doing things the proper way. IMO that's all
 10. Well I guess if we looked at numbers there no need for Vidor to show up. I sure hope Angleton is not looking pass ole Vidor here. This is not your normal Pirate team. Speed is a nice thing but proper tackling will make sure that they go down on contact. Vidor has seen plenty speed. I hope your WR are good at reading the different defenses that they will put in front of them. The Vidor defense doesn't get fooled by the stuff underneath to get beat over the top. Should be a good test for the Angleton D too I hope that they manage to play there responsible, and stick to there gap resposiblity. Vidor QB runs a offense and runs it well. Also the coaching has been perfect in these playoffs. People remember that the Mont Bears defensive was only giving up 10 points Vidor scored 42. There no more walk over teams left in these playoffs. If you get caught looking a head you well lose.
 11. Congrads to Kelly !!! I do see that ya'll making noise in your divison. Where do you go to find info on the teams that you are playing through the course of the season ?
 12.
Katy got alot better when the big population boom hit over there and of course Coach Johnson. Katy has a program that all of the kids buy into and are very good HS football players that work as a team. My wife taught at Katy HS for 4 years and I had a chance to watch them during that time. That was during 01-05 and I was amazed at the overall program. Good luck to LP, but I'm pulling for the Tigers.
I can respect this message. This is the truth behind the dynasty known as Katy. Katy has had a great program and the tradition run it over. All good things must and will come to a end GO LaPorte.

 14. Bunch sets and rub routes work the best. Leads to real easy reads for the QB.
 15.
BTW in the 90s Katy was pretty good. They won state in 97 and went a combined 33-3 between 97-99. They would've won another state championship in 98, but had to forfeit two games, because of an ineligible player. Total record for the 90s  was 107-25.
Well you be at the game ? If so I wouldn't mind sitting on Katy side with you. BTW the 90's comment was meant with  the reason you give. When the 90's started and teams seen them on there scheduled no one thought they would win the title in 97. Everytime has to have a starting point. I happen to think ours is this year.

Closest game they had was last week and they still won by 14. This reminds me of the season they went 16-0 with andre dean at rb. I just don't see anyone stopping them. They are probably the best team in the country. Sorry La Porte yall are about to run into the buzz saw that is the Katy Tigers.
People think that every year. The past two years someone has gotten in there to steal there trophy." They are who we thought they where." ( Denny Green Former Arizona Cardinals coach) Katy puts there pants on one leg at a time just like everyone else. LaPorte will fight them pretty good. That Cy Woods team finished 3rd in district. So the next couple teams will be not be afraid to bring it to them.
Yes, but this is a different team. Last year they relied on the run too much they had 4500 rushing yards compared to 1500 passing and they gave up 17 points a game. This year they are more balanced running for 3100 and passing for 2000, plus they only give up 7 points a game. Last year they lost to the eventual state champion 35-38 infront of 40,000 people the year before they lost in the state championship to Abilene. In the last three year only three teams have beaten Katy Pearland(16-0), Abilene(16-0), and the woodlands(11-1) all of those teams were undefeated when they beat Katy. That is pretty impressive. Someone may upset Katy, but it will be someone capable of winning state. I just don't think La Porte or Pam for that matter can do it. Well I tell you this much don't be surprise if it happens LaPorte 11-1 and PAM 11-1. That's some really good teams that are in the process of being great. Nothing against Katy but down here in SE Tx we don't fear them like else where. If I where to ask you at the point the pass three years would Katy get beat you would of told me NO. So I'm I surprised that you stroking them. NO Americans love the front runner but the underdog has to eat every once in while.

You shouldn't fear them, but odds are you wont win. Those teams that beat Katy were all better than Pam and La Porte. BTW I'm not "stroking" Katy I'm not even a Katy fan, but I do like the way they play. I gave you facts. You just want Katy to lose because you know deep down that Pam won't beat them in the next round ether.
In the 90's before Katy become Katy someone probably told them that you can't beat such and such. So this is the reason they play the game. BTW !!! This is the definations of stroking them BTW I'm not "stroking" Katy I'm not even a Katy fan, but I do like the way they play I couldn't of said it any better.

I deal with facts plus they where shut out once this year.
 19. Stand up coach that Kenny Ray is he admitted that the fake punt was not a good call. How many coaches do you know stand up and admit that ? I can appriate that.

I should change it to those sickening Dayton message threads. Leave us Vidorians alone. Just because we're the first ones drunk at the party...just sayin'.
What's wrong with that ? Drunk is great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 22. I don't think a coach establish as Olson would throw all his creditablity out the window for some knuckle heads if the story was as reported. Sounds like it's some info left out that allows him to think that it is Ok for these young men to play. I think that me as a parent would of taken care of my kid playing myself. He would be sitting out period as a life lesson. If that is the case we might as well call him Joe Pa.
 23. I agree with the winners. Mayfield was huge in that game for Port Arthur
