I agree, the game was long because of all of the fouls....But I love that they get to play in front of a large crowd for a change...and the atmosphere is unequaled in this area anyway.

they sure can.....they surprised me last year.....and they look as though they are playing very good now.

And the even better part is you can do NOTHING about it  :D [/quote] You have no clue where HJ basketball stands, Yes, Ned. beat us earlier in the year, as they did in 09, the same year that we went back to state and lost in double overtime to lubbock estacado. HJ will be just fine this year. You have no clue what this team is capable of, everyone is playing better right now than they did early on in the season...

I'm just glad that there is two or even three teams in this district that will push each other like they do.....it only helps in the playoffs....I will say for the last time, Congrats to Silsbee they were the reason for the win.....Yes as a HJ fan I'm upset we let this one slip away, yes we had them where we wanted them, and let it get away. I hope we win the next two from Silsbee, but I will settle for the last one we play against them this year... ;) Some of you seem as though you want to pour salt in an open wound....trust me the respect that each HJ and Silsbee have for each other is huge. Each team knows that they are in for a tough fight each time they step on the court.

He did a lot on both sides, but his defense is (IMOHO) is where he hurt us the most....He ended the game with 0 fouls too.....He plays a clean game...

And lots of it.....I was glad to here them announce it as the first edition of HARDIN COUNTY HAVOK.....The announcer always does such a good job at yalls games

Both teams have great players, I'm just glad that I became such a huge fan of HS basketball before I turned 50.....lol

Sorry I was just poking a little fun, because we have heard for three weeks how prudhomme couldn't hang with DC.....I never heard anyone from HJ say anything negative about DC, we all know he is awesome, but prudhomme holds his own. At least now you know..... :o

and little ole 3a has beat a many AAAA teams.....I was not aware that mid county madness referenced number of people attending....Heck u could combine HJ and Silsbee and I'm not sure that you would have 12000 people......but I bet that they are just as passionate...

Great game as a spectator, I really thought that the tigers would win this one easy with all of the talk from the so many people telling us that there is no way we could hang with the tigers.....I guess they just have not seen us play that good. The game had a big momentum swing and it swung in the way of the Tigers.....Good game Tigers, you won this one, but the next one watch out.....the Hawks will be coming for you...

WOW that is some great work AAW, but as you know we can throw records out the window anytime these two teams meet......cant wait fixing to leave now.

2 points... for a while.

The game ended up closer than the score shows, HF has a good team. We did not play very well we missed far to many close shots. But HF is for real, they can play.

Everything is coming together just at the right moment.
