I can agree with that karma... and for you Bdove, I see all I need to see with HJ high flying hawks, Where do you live to see Yates type of basketball all of the time, so much to be use to it,,,,oh thats right HF. JK I know you didnt grow up there. It is amazing to watch them play. So will we see the same quality out of the championship HF teams you have been telling us about, or is it only possible in H town.

These kids are doing what they are told so anyone bashing them needs to stop.  If you want to bash someone bash the coach.  Some people believe he is self promoting.  Whatever you want to call it the guy is winning.  However, this day in age there is so many bad things going on with kids and coaches especially in this part of Houston and this coach is positively effecting these kids lives by teaching them to work hard at all times and never stop.  If this team is truly as deep as it is it is not fair to ask the kids at the end of the bench to not play hard and not do the same things that they bust their butts in every day in practice and all year long to prepare.  There will be a games in the playoffs where they will look back at everytime they continued to play hard for the entire game and it will be beneficial to them.  This is a philosophy that these kids buy in to and it will not only help them in their run at a state title and national championship but it will help them in life. When you have a philosophy like this you don't see a score on the scoreboard or a time on the clock.  You play hard from start to finish and there are no ifs and or buts about it.  Many people go back to HJ in 91 and 92 and go ahead and look at those kids success in life.  It is like no other high school basketball team you have ever seen.  So before you criticize them let us all remember that teams like this are very rare and as a coach when you have them you do what you can to make sure they never stop becuase with kids this talented it is easy to turn it off and if they turn it off at the wrong time it could  be a chance missed for them. [/quote] Good post Karma...I'm trying hard to understand the mindset and although I do not agree with what the [b]COACH[/b] did I certainly understand the logic, I saw them play this weekend on TV, undoubtably the best highschool basketball team I have ever seen, those kids can fly.

it was a great game played by both teams and fun to watch. WOS is much improved, they looked good tonight. Good game lady Hawks way to fight back, I wasnt keeping track but I think they beat us up on the boards in the first half, but I think it was more equal in the second, the girls seem to come out much more aggressive in the second half. Great Job lady's way to hustle.

I was wondering who you were referring to when you said that, now i know it was me so let me clear it up for you. For number one I didn't know HJ held that record, back then I didnt follow HJ Basketball but I have heard that even the coach wish's he wouldn't have done it now. I dont think it is right. Then or now. I If i was officiating this game I would have started calling a lot of fouls until they backed off. I understand why it would look that way though.

2-0 against KTZ this year

there is probably not any fans that have seen the Hawks play more than zeek and I have this year, we have watched them play really good like the two kountze games and seen the hawks play not so good, like the first game against EC, the central game, and the NW game. Lucky to pull out one of the three. but you have to admit, from a 3 point win at HJ against EC to at 30+ win at EC is a huge difference in the two games...then the following week we won again by a large #. I know we know are team better than you do so just roll with it, we know KTZ has a great team we NEVER said they didn't.

IMOHO It is wrong to do it. But hey reap what you sew....lol
