  1. Sorry I haven't posted lately, I have been sick and in bed...But wow! what a game friday night. Congrats to OF on a hard faught battle, you deserved the win Friday night. I wasn't sitting on the wrong side bobcat thats were I always sit.
  2. You cant pass up a HJ and OF girls matchup....the games are just too good.
  3. Silsbee has to be hands down favorite for our area....
  4. Well Bleed I guess no one Knows him......or they are just too lazy to type....lol
  5. 1 district loss half the way through the battle is rough for us...but some schools would die for it.
  6. Now I know I can find you bobcat all I have to do is follow the extension cord.....lol, I will come introduce myself, you saw me last game so now I will know what you look like.
  7. Good point bluedove, I think that explains it better than I did. That was more direction, than my constructive critisism.
  8. Lumberton @ Ozen (-38 1/2) Central (-3 1/2) @ Nederland Livingston (-7 1/2) @ LCM Vidor @ PNG (-6 1/2) Silsbee (-39 1/2) @ Bridge City WOS (-20 1/2) @ Hamshire-Fannett Hardin-Jefferson (-16 1/2) @ Orangefield Anahuac (-23 1/2) @ Warren Hardin @ Buna (-8 1/2) East Chambers @ Kountze (-31 1/2)
  9. Thank you. :
  10. No doubt about it, they are human, and do have a difference of opinion at times, so you as a player just have to adjust. I just hate to hear it was the refs fault, I would be lying if I said at some point in my life if I didn't feel that way, but then I grew up. ;D ;D :
  11. Maybe becuase most of the time the players are thinking about getting screwed instead of thinking about the game. all that equals excuses and losses, you have to adapt to how the game is being called. Most teams don't understand that. Instead of just saying the refs are cheating, becuase of what you were told was a foul back in little dribblers, honestly look at what gets the foul called. You have to look at it like a farmer looks at a crop.....If a farmer plants a seed and it doesn't grow, he doesn't say "WELL THAT WAS A BAD SEED" (you know like saying the ref was bad). He says well maybe I didn't water it enough or maybe I did loosen the soil enough, neverless he looks back at himself to fix the problem, not blame it on someone else. It's a funny thing about pointing a finger at someone else, anytime you do it you have three pointing right back at you.
  12. Not sure, I'm just answering it to get it back to the top in hopes someone will read it.
  13. Good meeting you too, bullets.
  14. Great win Silsbee, I wasn't sure about this game it looks like a solid win. Good luck the rest of the season
  15. HJ still wins this one by 16. ;D I think that they are both the best two teams in District and it will be a fight, but at home HJ is hard to beat. Coach Sims will not give too many secrets away before the playoffs, I'm not sure she will show her hand even then, she doesnt want to mess up that job taking over for Pat Summit in the next few years.
  16. Lazeek are you upset because of your loving Silsbee signature. :'( I'm sorry
  17. I do agree with that AAW. I do think that Silsbee is the team to beat, and I wasn't trying to make excuses, I was hoping Silsbee would have a off night and we could capitolize but that didn't happen. They played a great game and deserve all of the credit.
  18. No doubt about it AAW, they contested more shots than we normally see in a game, we knew that was going to happen, but what I think what he is trying to say was even contested shots we still get more to fall than we did. Overall great game by the Tigers and not so great by the hawks, but we will rebound (pun intended...lol) Silsbee played a lot better than some of the other games I've seen them play this year so hats off to them, they stepped up when needed. We did not. The Hecklers were amazing...Keep it up guys and gals. The atmosphere in the gym was electric, I love games like that one.
  19. OK just stirring the pot a bit, Your boys took care of business just like the girls from HJ did. The Boys JV was close Looks to me like we Will keep having a great competition for years to come. By the way I cant wait for Regionals, Hopefully we will both meet up there again.
  20. Actually they could have stopped letting people in a long time before they did, but there would have been a lot of silsbee fans left outside. In fact they did stop it for a while and then let another small group in becuase they were claiming to be city council and such, I heard tere was almost an issue outside becuase they wouldnt let anyone else in. Everyone knew the game was going to sell out and they would lock the doors Lazeek even tried to let everyone know ahead of time, but for some reason they waited until 7:00 to show up anyway. I thought they did good trying to get as many people in as they could so both sides could enjoy the game...
  21. No doubt Silsbee is taller and deeper than HJ, but deffinately not too much for HJ to handle. Silsbee has a great team, and they played a great game. We did not, but we could meet up a couple of more times and you never know what could happen. That was the second time I saw silsbee play and they deffinately have what it takes to go all the way if they can keep their heads straight, good luck to both teams the rest of the year. It was nice meeting you too mactiger and AAW.
  22. congrats to Lauren on her scholarship for softball, I hate the media wasn't there like they have been for others....
  23. I hope that the fishing string I weaved over Silsbee's goal is still intact.
  24. T minus 5 hours 11 minutes and counting.
  25. Hamshire-Fannett (3-3)? @ Bridge City (1-5) Hardin-Jefferson (6-0) @ Silsbee (2-4)? Orangefield (5-1) @ West Orange-Stark (1-5)? These are my picks for tonights games.
