Well it's good to know Silsbee is going to "SMOKE" the big bad HJ , I'm just not sure why we should even play the game listening to yall. We will gladly take the feild against Silsbee

Just wait and see the game will not go like you think it will , Yes you have had the most dominate football program in the area, but times are changing, tonight the Hawks have nothing to loose, and that makes them dangerous. It will be different than you think, you will see.

so you think Silsbee got worse? No but you did loose a couple of solid players to graduation. I know they will rebound and be a powerhouse in the District.

Man yall are tough on these guys, you do realize most of them do it because they love the game, yes they get paid, but it isn't enough. It's not like anyone is getting rich off of it, it pays their expenses and maybe out to eat a couple of times. They are human....and we all make mistakes. I'm not a ref but I have several friends that are and I have learned allot from them. Besides if you had the best view from the stands there would be section roped off just for them.

It is a lot of fun, I have my vacation scheduled so i will be there for the whole tourny. We have had some teams from all over playing in it, last couple of years was cool with tyler chapel hill and aransas pass coming in to town. I cant wait until it starts

I didn't think it was appropriate to put the players last game stats in the article. Just my opinion, but it comes off as a lack of class on the newspapers part. These are still just allegations at this point I realize that, but I didn't think they were appropriate for the article.[tt][/tt]

I'm sorry some of that stuff is funny.....like I have seen better calls from a telemarketer.....tsif. I agree with the ref most people who complain do not know the rules. All that being said they are human and do make mistakes, everyone does, no one is perfect but some are a lot worse than others. I was at the A&M game when they played K state, I had a guy behind me telling me how the refs lost the game for them, now let me qualify this by saying I'm a huge A & M fan, but I turned and told him yeah they were pretty bad, but not making punt more than once the whole game prolly has a bigger bearing on the final score than the refs did. The refs were not too good at that game, that was obvious, but it didn't cost them the game like I hear from time to time on the boards.

Just wait until the season starts there will be a whole bunch of Prophets if you start winning. I think the difference is most of the HJ fans just expect to win every game. Orangefeild hasn't been a powerhouse for basketball in a while or maybe never I dont know, although they had a great year last year they still are not expected to come in and dominate. Just give it some time.

The HJ Silsbee games have been some of the best around....Cant wait to see them.
