I hope every school comes up with thier own student section and support thier school like HJ, and LCM does. It is a blast to go to a college game and watch the fans get into it. I don't see anything wrong with it. I think it's great, and the Hecklers have done an outstanding job this year.

that's a pretty weak statement. that the game IN SILSBEE was so close, and their identical district records would indicate they're still pretty even, even without Burrell. Burrell's impending return also makes this a soon-to-be moot point. Through this statement you're clearly trying to imply that the hecklers are irrelevant, and that they are not a factor in HJ's success. One only has to look at the whining and moaning about them that goes on in the basketball forum to realize just how big of an effect they have on the outcomes of games. If it bothers you fans so much, imagine how much they must get into the heads of the hawks' opponents. Usually there are very few who come on here and talk crap, at least to start. Most of the time there is negative talk about the hecklers in whichever game thread, and the hecklers come on here and defend themselves. Of course, they don't always show a lot of tact, but what do you expect when you have grown men criticizing high school kids? I don't think any Hawk fan, player, or coach is going to lose sleep about not having your support. Many fans in the area outside of Sour Lake supported the Hawks last year during their run to state, and i doubt that this year will be any different. Once again, surprisingly, I don't think anyone in the hecklers cares too much about who you root for. You're entitled to hold your petty grudge, although i think it's funny how someone who's name implies age and wisdom is one of the few people I hear griping about this situation, rather than a player or student. The posts you've made over the season about the hecklers would be more fitting coming from either. I notice that BCcardbacker and cardinalcc don't seem to have the same issues you do. He has shown his maturity level before remember all of the post he deleted....I was at the Silsbee vs. orangefield game and they had a makeshift heckler section, they were trying to do the same thing we do but I didn't see him complaining about them.

Does anyone know which gym it will be played in. Hopefully the field house, I think thats what they call it.

we play Tues at Barbers Hill after the Silsbee Kingwood game at 8:00 it's the first round we play Colsprings. We will deffinately have to set it up....the chair in the middle would be funny, maybe we shouldn't serve pie though... ;D

Well the comment about home field advantage means calls going your way was the absolute dumbest thing I have ever heard. That was for beeninnikes not you bobkat. I't's been a long week for me too, I was just trying to get you to lighten up a bit. everyone got a good laugh...that was my purpose I'm sorry it was at your expense but you should really stop and think before you complain about your team or the refs. I was not at the boys game so I do not know how it was called but I heard it was the same on both ends.... You need to hang around Bleed more and let him rub off on you.

Home field advantage to me alway's meant you were used to your gym and you have the largest crowd cheering you on. Nothing to do with the calls you recieve, each official tries very hard to keep it fair. But I need to talk to Todd and see if we can try the voodoo doll thing, it might work. If it does I'll share the secret potion with you and you will have nothing to complain about.

The Refs agreed that they would call the game fair and square when they ate lunch with the Hawks earlier that day, That was right after Todd hypnotized them with his state championship ring's then he said the key word is TAKE HIS WHISTLE, when they hear that then all calls go in favor of the HAWKS! Then he mixed up a voodoo potion to make the other teams miss shots he had the refs put it in the water cooler for your team. And I didn't see it but I heard he made a voodoo doll of the refs and everytime something happened that he didn't want them to see he would just put his finger over the dolls eyes. PLEEEEZ GIVE ME A BREAK YOUR TEAM PLAYED GREAT DONT CHEAPEN IT BY SAYING THE GAME WASN'T FAIR THIS ONE IS FOR BEENINNIKES NOT FOR YOU BOBKAT

Bobcat give me a break..............If you could see it good enough from the stands there would be a area roped off just for the refs, but you can't it looks a lot different when you are out on the court. As far as HJ whinning I'm sure we have some people like yourself that will place blame, but for the most part we understand win we loose it isn't just becuase the refs had it out for us. IF ANY TEAM DOESN'T ADJUST TO THE WAY THE REFS ARE CALLING THEN IT'S THIER OWN FAULT. by the way didn't you have two shots to win at the end of the game.....but I guess it's still the refs fault. Thanks Ref, That was the best game I have seen in a long time, both squads faught so hard JV and Varsity. Future is looking very good for these two teams.
