Due to equipment issues I will be blogging the game live instead of broadcasting the game from the Fred Williams Classic at Ozen on Friday afternoon.  The HJ/Central game will begin at 4.

The HJ Hawks travel to Nederland to take on the Bulldogs tonight.  HJ is coming off of a big win against 2A powerhouse Kountze in which Junior Shawn Prudhomme led the Hawks with 33 points along with Freshman Zjori Bosha who contributed 20 in his high school debut.  Nederland is coming off of a blow out victory of Bridge City last night.  These two have played the last two years each winning one game.  Who will win the rubber match?  Tune in tonight for the Pregame Show at approximately 7:15 and the opening tip at 7:30. Mine goes back to the PA Lincoln days.......state tourney, not sure what year.  2 on none fast break....lead man bounces ball back between his legs to the trailer and he pounds it down.  It was nice!!!!!

Lamar loses 102-70 to SMU!!! Overall if you would have told me that LU would have gone 1-2 this weekend I would have been happy, although in the two games they lost giving up 102 in both games in UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!  Time to play some dang DEFENSE!!!

Might need to learn to play some defense..........gave up 102 yesterday and 54 at half tonight!!!

Let me add this........He is likely one of the top players in the state in 3A, but in the entire state with all high schools included he is not even Top 75 IMO!!!
