Heard last night that LU signed a 6'9 kid from Humble Christian Life!!!!  That is Houston area last time I checked!!!!!

All this means is that those Silsbee basketball players will be on the court come Monday........was hoping the Tigers would make a DEEP run in the football playoffs!!!

I think these guys will start and the others will play the majority of the minutes!!!!

HJ is without three starters tonight.......Gustafson, Sutherland and Anderson.  Heard Kountze beat them in the first scrimmage and that HJ beat Kountze in the 2nd scrimmage.

Well it is official.  Starter Will Anderson has a torn ACL and Meniscus and will have surgery.  Meniscus will take about 6 weeks to heal and then will try to go with a brace likely when district starts.  Prayers for Will and a speedy recovery!!!!

High ankle sprain on one, concussion from football on another and a possible torn ACL on the third from football!!!

I was told tonight that one will be cleared to practice Wednesday, another out for two more weeks at least and the other will not know how long until he meets with doctors again on Wednesday.  Keeping fingers crossed on all three starters!!!

One may be for the year.......... >:( >:(

The first HJ broadcast will be on Friday, November 19th.  Kountze vs. HJ from Hawk Gym!!!!

HJ in a game much closer than most expect.  But I am looking forward to it being the first game that I broadcast on setxsports.com this year for my Hawks!!!!!

Garrett Gustafson will not play for the Hawks this week.  He suffered a concussion.  Looks like he will get an early start to basketball season!!!!! ;) ;) ;)
