Proud of my Minor Mets for finishing 2nd in the Group B tournament.  We were a young team and did well.  We were the 4 seed and upset the 2 seed and then lost in the championship.  Proud of them all!!!!!! Thanks Jason for running a first class fall ball season!!!!!

Football or basketball????? ;D ;D ;D Silsbee has a huge advantage here and that is no secret.  The Tigers will be a little upset after losing to Bridge City last week and will look to make a statement. Hardin-Jefferson is coming off of a road win at HF and looks to break a several year losing streak to the Tigers.   In the end the Tigers are too much and wins the game 48-7!!!

I do not agree with your rankings but I do respect your opinion................ WOS will be much improved this year, but they will still have their issues as will HJ and Silsbee learning to play without certain people and WOS will have a new coach with a new system and it will be the third coach in three years. Silsbee will be a different team this year.....instead of trying to slow it down and bang it inside and then out like they did last year with the bigs, they will have to learn to crash the boards.  They will be very good again this year and are the district favorite again. HJ will not have the "go to" guy that they had in Turner and a guy that can carry the entire team, but I feel they will be a better team this year than they were last year.  May not make it to the Regional Final again, but look for a better team play.  They will also be deeper this year.  Bench will actually have 3-4 contributors instead of the one or two. I really do not have an opinion on Spurger as I have never seen them play. Anahuac should win the district this year with EC and Kountze on their tails.
