Did you really say HF and EC were State Contenders????  Silsbee will be a contender and as far as Kountze well.........they have some big shoes to fill and not sure if they have the guns to do it.

Sure a District Championship is every teams goal, but so is a Regional Championship and a State Championship.  HJ staff has been far superior to the other staffs in the district and their records speak for themselves.  Some teams are pleased with a District Title, but some have higher expectations and goals!!!

Heard that Randy Orton, Mark Henry and someone else ate at Golden Corral after the show............talk about stars eating at Beaumont's finest!!!!!!  Bet Mark Henry got his $$$$ worth at the buffet!!!!! LOL!!!

6'3 and about 225 would be my guess.  Plays for HJ and also plays basketball for the Hawks!!!!  Made Beaumont Enterprise Super Gold Team as a sophomore.

Can a player play up.......for example.  Can a 8 year old play in the 9-10 year old division????

Bosha is solid and has been starting from what I hear....................another Freshman plays and wil make a great PG starting next season I would assume for HJ.  His last name is Mitchell.......and BTW he is Ryan Donahoe little brother!!!!! 8) 8) 8)

Orange #1 came back to defeat TC #1 tonight 21-20 in 6 innings...........sad that the season is over for the TC kids and for my son Colin.  However he did make his old man proud tonight as he did hit a 3 run bomb in the 1st inning!!!!!  Congrats Colin!!!! 8) 8) 8)

I agree MJB..........I am shocked that only 3 balls have been hit out of the park in the tournament!!!!!!

Could not sleep this morning and drove from Sour Lake over to Vidor to check out the field...........it is INCREDIBLE for the amount of rain that we have received............special thanks to Larry and his crew for getting to field in great shape for the tournament...........now we just need the rain to stay away!!!
