Henderson Jr. High used to have to bus two of their four teams to the Nome Gym every day for practice. Now, the Jr. High has two gyms for four teams and the high school has two gyms for six teams.  HJ did it right.  Could have been a little bigger but, their practice situation is much better now than it used to be.

This game has been marked on the calenders for several months now.  I really figured that someone would have already brought this up by now!!!  Wildcatter tonight has finally come!!!!  Hoopinsider has the Hawks picked by 20 points in this one and that is WAT TOO MANY!!!!!  Orangefield always plays people tough at home..........I am hopeful that the "A" Hawks team shows up tonight and gets out of there with a win........if NOT then OF could pull the upset.  I am taking my Hawks in this one...........54-47!!! I will not be there because Little Lazeek has a Little Dribblers game at 7...............I am seeing a Hawks and Thunder win tonight!!!!  See you in Sour Lake in a few weeks Wildcatter!!!

HJ has never held the #1 ranking!!!!!  Even after beating then #1 Kountze!!!!!  ::) ::) ::) ::)

I don't disagree one bit Faninthestands!!!!!  But I am very happy with what we have, although I LOVE the EC gym!!!!

I would rather have two new schools, renovate two schools and have a new gym like HJ has than just have a new gym like EC has.........I LOVE the HJ gym just wish is was slightly bigger and possibly with stadium seating as well.

The difference is that HJ built and two new entire schools and renovated others with their bond and EC passed a $4 million bond just for the new gym!!!!

Did not get to watch or listen to the game but glad to hear they won........maybe they will have 5 wins not instead of only 4!!!! Enjoy the conference record above .500!!!!  It may be the last time in conference and for the year to be above .500!!!!

It is the best gym in SE Texas period!!!!!!!

Maybe BISD should work a deal with Ford Park and have the Ozen/WB, Ozen/Central, Central/WB games out there!!!!!  I just hope they don't try to charge the $14 per person and $8 for students rate out there or they will have another 100 fan crowd like they had for the HJ/EC game!!!

No he was not!!!  Until tonight he has not played since HJ beat Kountze ;) :D 8) in the Finals of the HJ Tourney which was on December 12th!!!

It was a 29 point game with 4-5 minutes to go and HJ unloaded to the bottom of the bench..........BC left their starters in the entire game.  HJ missed more lay ups than I have ever seen.......in fact they just missed another, and another and another!!!!  However I was very impressed with 35 from BC!!!!  He is solid!!!  Also #45 from BC looks as if he gives 110% the entire game!!!  Other than those two BC does not have much!!!

Donahoe deserves it................Benard is a bench player on that team!!!
