This is a high school level All Decade team.............what they have done and where they have done it is irrelevant!!!!!!  If that was the case then Perkins is the best player from this decade..........and HE IS NOT!!!!!! However TopDawg I do agree that thus far Hancock has had a much better college career!!!!!

I guess Benard's alomst 30 point average is "not getting the job done"?  :D :D :D

There is NO question that ROC has had a better record than the previous LU coaches........is it really about record though???  I want regular season conference titles and conference tourney titles which will get you into the NCAA tournament!!!!!  Who cares if you go 19-11 and lose first round of the SLC tourney!!!

I don't really think that the talent is terrble at Lamar...........I think that the coaching is very suspect!!!!

I had a post on here that I posted about 10pm last night giving them credit for a good 2nd half............it also criticized ROC and his lack of coaching skills and evidently someone deleted it!!!! They played well in the 2nd half............thank god a FRESHMAN stepped up and led the team.........they have no heart and no team play!!!!  They took the lead back by PUSHING the ball and once they got a 10 point lead 51-41 lead they slowed down to a HALF COURT game which they have none of!!!!!!!!  Almost cost them the game........also why was Custer out of the game late............he was HUGE last night in regaining the lead and showed emotion!!!!!  It also did not hurt that UTA is very athletic but not very good.......other than Haynes who is VERY GOOD they did not look impressive.  UTA will beat LU in Arlington by 15!!!!!!  Nonetheless great win for the Cards last night and glad they stepped it up in the 2nd half............still thinking 4-5 wins in conference though!!!

I will be honest..........I am surprised that LU beat Rice and Tulane..........LU is NOT very good..........I was hopeful at the beginning of the year but reality has set in!!!

FAST PACED..................they hit a season high 87 points the other day!!!!!!  They are averaging a pathetic 68.5 points a game!!!!!  I have not laughed that hard in a while!!! :D :D :D LU actually ranks 206th in the NCAA Div. 1 hoops!!!!!  67.2 points per game based on ESPN.com!!!!  74.2 at home and 61.3 on the road!!!!

HJ losses: Turner ** Ricossa ** Nobles Weldon Venable They return: Gustafson ** Sutherland ** Prudhomme ** Anderson Persohn Villason Starters ** First of the bench # I can see this as next seasons starting 5 PG--Gustafson SG--Sutherland SF--Prudhomme PF--Persohn C-Anderson HJ will also have a Freshman that has an very good chance at being in the rotation next year.....he is a VERY GOOD 8th grader!!!
