The only upside to a young team is if they ALL stay together for the 4-5 years...........don't leave and transfer to another school and quit bringing in kids that are ONLY gonna be here for 1 year.....like a few of the kids that we have seen over the last 5 years!!!

I know I am having withdrawals.........I have not seen a game since the EC game at Ford Park........I am having to rely on Little Dribbler games to get me through!!! ;D ;D ;D

After beating Newton last Tuesday night the HJ Hawks have had two teams back out on them at the last minute.  On Friday the 8th HJ was contacted by Milburn Academy and said that their coach was sick and because of the weather they would not be showing up for their game at HJ that night.  And now San Augustine has backed out on there games for tomorrow night against HJ.  HJ made attempts to schedule a game with West Brook and Kirbyville who both have an opening for tomorrow night and both declined!!!  Hope the rust does not affect the Hawks too much with district play starting on Friday night against Bridge City at Hawk Gymnasium!!! 

Bet your #1 to end the season just like in Football!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Guys lets keep this civil and on topic!!!   Who are some local high school basketball players that are being courted at this moment to play ball at the next level.............whether it be D1, JUCO, NAIA, etc!!! I know the two kids at Memorial are being recruited by LU, but who else is looking at them??  What other kids.  SE Texas is always full of good talent!!! Has anyone signed or committed???

What does Silsbee beating HJ have to do with HJ beating Kountze.............YOU GOT "RICK JAMES" by the Hawks!!!!!

Nope.......it was the team afterwards with Harrison, Davis, Laminack, Underwood, etc.

Isabell 6'6, Holmes 6'6 and Burke 6'4 all graduated in 1991!!!  We are not comparing the team that won state in 1991..............this is the team that was undefeated and ranked #1 all season until they lost to Groesbeck at the Regional tourney!!!

HJ's team from 1992 tallest player on the team was only 6'2!!!

Yep.........I will let the coach from the other team get that for you.....he is a prominent attorney in SE Texas....he can afford it!!!

You can come and watch the 8-9 year old Twin County Thunder take on a 9-10 year old team from Evadale!!!! ;D ;D ;D
