Someone from Milburn called HJ High School this morning and notified them that Milburn would NOT be coming to Sour Lake tonight to play the Hawks!!!  Guess it is too cold for a butt whoopin!!! :D :D :D

Ain't it great..........actually not sure if a new ranking has come out since HJ lost but they are still ranked because "it is what it is"!!!!!  I'm just sayin!!! :D :D :D

I have nothing to base it on...........until I see Yates in person and cannot make a commitment one way or another............I would say that Yates has an early advantage though because they are ranked nationally!!!  Someone post some footage of a actual game and not the scrimmage that was posted a few weeks ago!!!

[/quote] Who knows if HJ beats Kountze without Ricossa..........I also agree that HJ for whatever reason did not adjust against NW and I know that all three coaches were pounding it into the players heads the entire game to adjust.......there were several times that players came out because they were not getting the job done.  I know for a fact that other than one starter the average playing time was around 21 minutes for each starter.  Don't think that would have been the case if they were on their game!!!  I will also say that it took HJ playing the worse game that I have seen them play in 5 years to lose by 8 points to NW.  Not making any excuses......I am just sayin!!! ;D ;D

Someone said that 60-70 point games just happen but winning by 100 doesn't.  Really?  What's the difference between winning by 70 and winning by 100?  And what does it matter how you got to that point?  Yates would have beaten Lee by 70 without pressing.  Splitting hairs if you ask me.
