With tonight's victory over the Lumberton Raiders in the EC Tournament HJ Coach Todd Sutherland achieved his 500th victory in just 598 games........incredible feat Coach!!!!  500-98 as a Head Coach!!!  He has been a head coach at EC, WOS, Kountze and HJ.  Leading three of the four schools to the State Tournament and winning two State Titles.......one with Kountze and one with HJ!!!!  Coach Sutherland has achieved this feat in this his 17 season as a head coach.  HJ is very blessed to have Coach Sutherland as their coach!!!!  Congrats again Coach Sutherland and here is to your next 500 wins!!!

Texas ended up scoring over 100 points and put 4 players with 20+ points..........Jacovin had 21 and at least a half dozen assist.........he is very good!!!!!

Sometimes when you are wrong it is just best to admit it!!!!!  Jacovin Brown is good...I said he could not play for Texas and I was wrong!!!  8 points and several nice assist in limited time in the game!!  Very impressed!!!
