Prayers are needed for the family of Kevin McDonald.  He is a former basketball player from Hardin Jefferson.  He was killed in a 4 car accident yesterday on Highway 124.  He was 30 years old and was about to be married and has a 6 year old daughter.  Please prayer for him and his family!!!

The 8u Gladiators had a great tourney finishing in 2nd place in the Nations Baseball Fall South Zone Tournament after losing the Championship to the Houston Braves 10-5.  The Glads outscored their opponets 81-22 over the five games going 4-1!!!!  Big bats and great defense was the key in the run to the Finals!!!  The Glads hit 5 homeruns with Grant Rogers hitting three and Izakk Whitman hitting the other two.  Multiple double plays and some unbelieveable catches in the outfield as well!!!  Great job to the kids and to the coaching staff on a great tourney!!!  Next tournament for the 8u Glads is the Turkey Day Blowout at Baseball USA in Houston on November 21-22. 

I heard that Dayton and Kountze are coming to HJ on Thursday!!!

As a Hawk fan I am obviously pulling for BC, but I am going to be realistic and I believe that Cleveland wins this one 27-14!!!  Hope I am wrong though!!
