If you feel that you said nothing wrong then why did you delete the post??? I don't think that HJ will come on here gloating about beating a down HF team.....they should beat them easily as well. This should be a game where they work on things for their matchup with WOS and Silsbee. I have no issues with you giving your opinion, I just have a issue when you bash a coach.

This team is very well coached with the talent that they have. Martel has done a great job!!!! I guess you think that this team has more talent than any team in SE Texas, right??? : : : The only school in the district that has less talent is HF!!!!

The Gladiators 8u and 7u competed in the Autumn Classic at Baseball USA (Houston) this weekend. Both teams played in the 8u Division. The 8u team lost their first game to the Kingwood Dynasty 5-4. They won their 2nd game 8-2 over the Houston Sluggers. Both teams were 8u teams. The Glads (8u) were seeded 4th and faced the same team that beat them yesterday and got revenge by beating them 13-6 after giving up 5 runs in the top of the 1st to the Dynasty. Then the Glads who made it to the Semis lost a heart breaker 14-13 to the Houston Rangers. The Glads had faced a 6 run deficit and tied it up in the top of the 5th. Then more fielding errors cost us the game in the bottom of the 5th. As a team the Glads hit the ball well all weekend and fielding was the difference. The Houston Rangers did win the Championship over the Texas Lumberjacks 10-9. So with the Glads losing two by only a single run and the Rangers winning by only a run it was obviously anyone's tourney. Great showing for the 8u Glads in their first tourney together. The 7u team as I said played in the 8u division also. They faced the Lufkin Blaze and lost a close one by only two runs and then lost to the Texas Lumberjacks yesterday afternoon. They went in as the #7 seed and once again had to face the Lumberjacks this morning and once again they were defeated by the Lumberjacks. Still a great showing for this 7u team to compete in the 8u division. Next tourney for both teams is this weekend at Ford Park!!!

I predict that HJ will beat HF, lose to WOS and shock the world against Silsbee in the final game of the regular season!!!! ;D ;D ;D

I see it shaking out like this........ 1. Silsbee 5-0 2. WOS 4-1 T3. BC 2-3 T3. HJ 2-3 T3. OF 2-3 6. HF 0-5 IMO................OF will beat BC and create a 3-way tie with BC, OF and HJ with all having beaten each other. The tie breaker will be point differtial. Hopefully OF will beat BC and win by however many points is necessary for HJ to win the tie breaker. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Great win for the Hawks!!! Both teams seemed to move the ball at will in the first half and then HJ stopped OF on a 4th down. To start the 3rd OF ran a fake punt from midfield and HJ stopped it .....and then HJ threw an interception two plays later. Both teams swapped TD's and then HJ stopped OF again on 4th and about 5 and then HJ converted a huge 4th down of their own with about 3 minutes left on 4th and about 12 from the OF 40. Great game for both teams and HJ keeps their playoff hopes alive. As a HJ fan I will be pulling for OF when they play BC!!!

Wildcatter I am hearing that there are some rumblings going on over in OF.....can you confirm or deny?
