I disagree Spinks..............I think he would be Top 25 if it were scoring only!!! He will average a solid 15 points a game this year easy. That is Top 25 material easy!!!

Just talked to a person who is "in the know" and they said that the roster is 90% set and that they are waiting to see who is qualified and who is not. They said is everything falls to the good that this may be the best LU team in a long time!!!! Hope they are right. May end up being another season of high expectations and going home disappointed.

As I also said before I do not mind paying for "real, authentic" autographs for my son!!!!! I have done it many, many times before and will continue to do it!!!!! I asked a favor from you and you said "anything for the kids" and you told me that you would take care of it. You took care of it alright...........likely got the t-shirt from Perk, spent $3 on a Sharpie and spent another 3 minutes signing the t-shirt yourself!!!! You could have at least gone online and looked at their signatures and tried to forge them!!!!! Really pathetic that not 1 minute after getting the t-shirt my wife goes this is "FAKE"!!!!!! And yes she was right.....as she is most of the time!!!! Don't think that I lose sleep over it, because I don't!!!!! Just wanted others on this board to know how much of a "FRAUD" that you really are and that it is sad that you have a hand in teaching today's youth!!!!!

Obviously you have not seen HJ in too many games then. I agree that Turner is definately Top 25, but I think that he is on the outside looking in of a Top 10 ranking at this time. His defense may be second to none in SE Texas. His offense is streaky good at times. Will he be a Benard who averaged 25 a game..........NO, but he will get his and get his team involved.

I am glad that we have seen your true colors DV...........All that you claimed about being for the kids was a crock or "you know what"!!!! You claim to be "in the know" and a "big timer" yet you could not even get an authentic autograph from a game that you seemingly "knew the players", "got in to the game free", etc. A sad time when you tell your kid that someone is getting them an autograph and then you get them a "FAKE" autographed t-shirt. You should be so proud of yourself!!! I honestly believed you when you said you felt bad about it, but now "I am in the know"!!!! Just remember you brought this on yourself!!!! I have said nothing directly about the autographed t-shirt in the last year on this board. BTW, my son cannot enjoy the t-shirt you got since we used it to wash the car after we found out "ALL" of the signatures on it were just as "genuine" as you are!!!!

One can only hope that the details and summary you have given are more accurate and truthful than the details and summary you gave of "your trip to the conference semi-finals" last year, and more realistic than the souvenirs you brought back.

Last time LU played TSU they beat that rear...........was not even close. Where did you play then?

I guess playing at Texas Southern is playing at a higher level................what does that make Lamar? The pinnacle of all hoops? ;D ;D ;D ;D

Finally I agree with someone else about how good Roc really is....................anyone can recruit at Memphis, but you will not get any of those kids or anyone near as good as those kids to come to Lamar when they can go to a big time school.

Program is going in the right direction when an assistant coach leaves to go coach girls high school hoops!!!!!

I guess being in the "pros" for the last 10 years and being a successful musician is not good enough for you..........or yet again maybe it is just jealousy!!!!

So we agree!!!!!! :D I like Roc, but the results have been no different than Deane.............and Deane won the Conference Tourney in his first year.........yes I know a bunch of players that were not his......yadda, yadda, yadda!!!!! You still have to win the games!!!

I would like for you to compare Deane vs. Roc's record!!!!! Different styles of play, different styles of coaching (except for the cussing) and the same results...................500 basketball!!!!!!!

This is the last year that that I am giving Roc..............he has brought in a few good players, won a few games, but still has not done what he said he would do and what the LU fans want..........WIN CONFERENCE!!!!!! I am still bitter about the way that they handle Deane and I will always be looking for a new coach if he is not performing well.

I have come to the conclusion that LU is not signing anybody any good........if they had they would have announced it already............looks like a down year for LU!!!!! Hope I am wrong......

Thought a few would get a kick out of that......I always enjoy kicking someone when they are down!!!!

Maybe while you are there DV you can get a young kid an autograph or something!!!:)
