Tournament was completed yesterday and it was a great weekend except for about a 2 hour rain delay on Satruday. The course is incredible and proved that it is the best course in Southeast Texas!!!!! There were players from Beaumont, Houston, Baton Rouge, Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Lake Charles, Oklahoma City to play in this tourney. In my opinion this is the best team tourney in SE Texas!!!! Here are some of the results for the Championship Flight: Champioship Flight (24 teams with all team having 0 Handicap or better) 1---Stewart/ Going -13 (64-65) 2---Ducote/ Jabbia -9 (69-64) 3---Davis/ Cline -9 (65-68) 12---McGallion/ Lietzke -3 (73-66) > > :D AAW, I knew you would ask so I when ahead and put my scores, even though we finished tied for 12th!! :D

I look for an interesting year in hoops this year. On paper Silsbee seems to be the team the beat and the athletes as they did last year.................OF has the experience and it is very tough to play in OF..................HJ what they always have and that is basketball players and coaching. I have always said I would rather have basketball players than athletes...........I will stick to my guns again and say that Silsbee/ HJ will share the district title and both will have major scares in OF with the Bobcats coming in 3rd.

On the 2A level Brey is more significant than Gulley on the 4A level!!!!

I guess I can live with that!!! :D HJ will not be the same without JB this year..................... > > ;)

It's official with only two players still on the course ahead of Tiger he will miss only his 2nd cut in a Major as a professional!!!!!!!!!!! What a disappointment........................he was a 13 to 5 favorite heading into the week and the next closet was at 30 to 1!!!!!!!! :o
