I like the schedule. It is nice for recruiting to play the likes of Memphis, Kentucky and Louisville but it really does nothing for the record or the confidence of the team. Playing teams like Rice, UL-L, Tulane, Denver, Middle Tennessee will get you better prepared for conference in my opinion.

This was for the PONY All Stars!!! Orange, Vidor, Port Arthur, Groves and Twin County (Sour Lake). I was not knocking them for having played Select ball. Just an advantage for them with being familiar with each other!!! Also congrats to jake baker (TC) on the 3 run bomb he hit last night!!!

Exactly how I and the TC coaches saw it.......STRATEGY!!! Unfortunately luck was not on our side and the better team won. However if you take a team that has been playing select together for months or years they will likely beat a team thaþ was put together 6 weeks ago........whoops with the exception of Vidor!!!!

Congrats VIDOR!!! They won tonight 16-6 and now are headed to the State tourney in Ft Worth!!!!

Great job TC on a great tourney!!! You guys have nothing to hang your heads about!!! Thanks to Sam, Roy, Cody and Andy on doing a fantastic job of coaching the TC "A" Team this season!!!!

This thread is about 21-3A in 2009. It has nothing to do with Perkins, Ozen or the private school that you are coaching at.....................so pack up your stuff and your speculation and move on!!!! :D

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! He was 7 foot and that is why he was being recruited. We shall see if Perk is in the starting lineup come November 1st!!!!! If he does start his numbers will be down in all catagories with the addition of Wallace and KG coming back.

Always gotta throw in the "how would they do against your little team"!!! What a coward!!!!! You know that Ozen and Perk had it handed to them by Bosh and Co.!!! Deal with it and that is a fact!!!!! Enjoy life in the big city..............while you can!!!

Sure they should............they recruit!!! So they get the what they think are the best kids around. Although things are about to change in the Pear Orchard!!!!! I predict someone other than Ozen winning district this year or at least a share of the title.
