I just drove by the ballpark in Port Arthur and they were working on the field and it looks great. They have painted the exterior of the dugouts and also painted portions of the exterior of the concession stand. Also there is a "nice" portable fence set up in the outfield. The fence is about 8 feet high and 160 down the lines and 180 to center. The field has been mowed and they were watering the infield while I was there. Should be great for this next weeks games. Great job guys!!!!!! ;D ;D

Pinto starts tomorrow with TC and JCPL (Groves) at 1pm.

Heard that they will have a temporary fence for the Pinto tourney this weekend in PA. Fence will be set at 160 down the lines and 180 to center.

If Anahuac and Kirbyville both move back up to 3A then I see this 6 team district happening................ Orangefield WOS Bridge City Hardin-Jefferson Hamshire-Fannett Anahuac Silsbee, Kirbyville and Jasper would all three be in a district north of the Golden Triange. If Kirbyville moves up and Anahuac stays in 2A then I see this eight team district........... Orangefield WOS Bridge City Hardin-Jefferson Hamshire-Fannett Kirbyville Jasper Silsbee Should be interesting to see how the numbers fall this year!!!!!! Will the hurricane have any affect on the numbers with kids leaving and not returning???

He will be over paid and less productive than Artest if he were to come to Houston!!!!

As far as someone saying that TC had the best bats in the tourney..............they must have just been being nice...........VIDOR has some serious power from top to bottom of their lineup!!!!!! The biggest kid on the team however never got it out of the infield, but they MUST be keeping down not to show anything!!!! ;)

Lots of good and lots of bad for both teams but it was fun!!!! From what I heard Vidor won 21-11 in 8 innings.

Scrimmage has been rescheduled for tonight in Sour Lake. It will be played at or around 6:30pm. Hopefully the rain will stay away this time.

Heard the two teams will play tomorrow night (Wednesday) but not sure of whether it will be in Vidor or Sour Lake???

What takes place on the 17th? I may drive home on the 17th (a day early) if nothing takes place on the 17th that is major.

What are the dates for next years tourney..................I al ready have a bad feeling since we just booked a penthouse at a high rise in Destin for June 11th-18th!!!!! :(

I am willing to bet anything that TC plays their kids were they are suppose to play and will take it very serious. I was just having fun earlier. There still is a question mark or two, but all other spots have been solidified. I would say that you will see a few outfielders shuffled and the catcher. Everyone else is very solid. I just hope that they do it like a game situation instead of letting each team bat the lineup each inning played.

The scrimmage is good for one reason and one reason only........................to play someone other than the kids that you have been playing in practice for the last month or so!!!!!!

LOL! Yeah that is funny.. Vidor 1 will be 1 and Vidor 2 will be 2.... VP93 we at TC know that Vidor is the team to beat. We are just glad that we get to see them in person before the tournament to see what we are up against. ;D ;D

I hear TC is going in laying down so they do not show anything. Kids playing positions that they will not be playing during the tournament. ;)

The Pinto division Vidor All Star team will host the TC All Star team tonight at 6:30. Should be interesting.

Less than a week away. Any confirmation on where teams are going in from Vidor and Orange. TC is going in as is. #1 is #1 and #2 is #2!!!!!! Groves and PA only have 1 team each. What are Vidor and Orange doing?
