Actually number #10 plays about the same amount of minutes that I will play this year!!! :D

The 7U Gladiators won this weekends tourney at Ford Park. They beat the Lufkin Blaze in the Championship!!!! My son's 7U Select team (TC Young Gun's) played in their first tourney this weekend at Ford Park. They only started practicing on Monday and had two practices. They lost their first game 18-17 to the Pearland Avengers VIII South. They then beat the Gladiators 17-10 and then lost to the Lufkin Blaze 16-10. It was a lot of fun and nice to see that we beat the Champions and lost to the other finalists and to a semi-finalists who lost to the champions. Congrats Gladiators on the Championship!!!!!!! The Young Gun's will be back this weekend seeking their first title!!!!!

Funny thing......we have football players (seniors) that come into our spring basketball off-season and can't make it through half the stuff we do. The above post is about as antiquated as you can possibly get. I only want kids playing for me that WANT to play. Strength is not found in numbers, strength is found in commitment. "Nut up"???? Seriously????? Are you going to tell me that a flat top, Bike coaching shorts, cardboard collared shirts, and chew is the only way to describe a "real coach" too? Heck yes!!!!!!! :D

He has had ample opportunities to be the head coach in the past few years and turned them all down. He is content where he is and happy to be there. Absolutely no chance he is even remotely interested.

I believe that Kobe is the better player... by a shade. Put Lebron on the Lakers, and Kobe on the Cavs, and i think both teams are in the exact same spot right now. Kobe might be a bit better, but he's got a WHOLE lot better team around him. I agree that Kobe has more around him!!!

I have a feeling that a ghost from the past will get it. They will want to win now and not have a new coach come in and try to rebuild. They will want a established coach who has a proven track history and can make a instant impact!!!!!

I was told yesterday from a reliable source that the odds of the Athletic Complex in the South Endzone will likely NOT be done in time for the 2010 season!!!!! Stadium upgrades and seating will be done and new turf should be in anytime!!!!!!!
