Back 20-25 years ago there were only a handful of tournaments that were over 7000 yards...................now every tournamnet is over 7000 and several are over 7400!!!!!!!

Listen GOAT the rain was the cause of 90% of the issues. My main complaint is the pitchers mound. It was atrocious last year. It looked as if a dump truck backed onto the field and dumped about 20 yards of sand and then you just let the grass try to grow over it. The rubber was just sitting on top of the mound instead of being installed properly and during the Directors tourney two different balls hit the edge of the mound and kicked almost off of the field itself. If it were not for the mound and the bathroom situation I would have no complaints. I agree that the bathrooms at TC are not that great either, but still are better than going to the john in the middle of the parking lot. I repeat what I said earlier...............you guys were class acts and ran a great couple of tournaments last season. I know that the other communities as well as TC are anxious to get back to receive your hospitality!!!!!! Hopefully this season there will be no rain though!!!!!!!

I know a local guy who tried to pre-qualify for the qualifier and he shot 86!!!!! Hahahahahaha.............waste of time and money!!!! :D

HJ football stadium is nice it is just small compared to Silsbee. HJ new gym will be as nice as any in the area...........may not be as big, but will as nice as anybodys. Dumps are dumps!!!!!! :D

Maybe you misinterpreted my statement. And if you will look at post that I have made in the past on the PA fields you will see what I have said. Here are a few examples: The group that ran the Director's Tournament and All-Stars were wonderful and made it a first class experience.....they even sang Happy Birthday to my son prior to the game beginning. The only problems were the field itself. After the rains (which you cannot control) the dugouts were full of water, the field was in poor shape. The pitcher's mound was the worst......it looked like a dune at the beach. I can assure you that we were happy to be in both tournaments and make it to both Championship games. Please accept my apology as it was in sarcasm and as a joke with other coaches that were in the same tournament from other communities. Regardless of where the tournaments are we are looking forward to being in PA in May and in July!!!
