I think everyone's opinion has merit................however I am looking at it two ways. One is it is very important that you work with your kid at home as we as coaches only have two-three hours a week to work with the kids and if you are not working that with them at home then that shows me that you do not care about the kid getting better or playing in the infield. Second is putting a kid in the in field that has a slower reaction time then you are putting them at risk to get injured. I appreciate everyone's opinion but I teach winning, to have fun and fundamental's on my team. Also if the kid is not willing to listen and learn they will likely see more outfield time then infield time as well. I have a young player on my team that is eager to learn and has no business being in the infield and this person will find themselves in the infield way before the other players that are only there because mom or dad signed them up to play!!!!!!!!!

I disagree that Football is pinnacle in SE Texas on any level............ Basketball has proven that it wins more titles than Football does!!!!!

I have 14 of the 16 in one of my brackets. However the two that I missed I had going to the Elite Eight as well. So the most that I will have in the Elite Eight is the Super Six!!!!!!!! ;D ;D

So on average it will run $88 to replace a seat in the stadium???

I am in 5th................ Problem is I had WF going to Championship game and they played like LU on Friday!!!!!!! :D

When they say they are spending $1.5 Million to replace 17,000 seats.................are they replacing it with actually stadium seating or will we have benchs????

I would take Robinson and Benard over Spikes and Bailey anyday. Spikes and Bailey can shoot outside better than Benard and Robinson but the ability to get to the rim would be the difference. Inside 18-3A would cause some serious troubles for 21-3A!!!!!

Actually Babyboi All Star games can only be played by Seniors. So Jacoby, Phillip and Avery would not be able to play. However we would have Jarvis, Shannon, Trey, Nick, Brady, Tyler (OF) and Watson (WOS). That would be a solid top 7 but we have no size!!!!! Guard heavy team!!!

Actually this is the first year that they have done any kind of maintenance on the fields during the off season. THe new facilities director has been on a personal quest to keep them up during the winter months......mowing, spraying, etc. Fortunately his son and my son are the same age and will be playing together for many years!!!!!!

Finally after months of preparation on the fields and weeks of practice the season will begin tomorrow at 9am with the Opening Day Tournament. Each league will crown a tournament champion this weekend. The regular season begins starting on Monday night. Thanks to all of the TCYB Board Members and all of the volunteers over the last several weeks and months for putting countless hours into getting the facility and fields in the best shape that they have ever been in. Looking forward to a great season. Best of luck to all teams and let's getting ready to have tons of FUN!!!!!!!!
