HJ played in that tournament back in 1990-91 season and won the Hugo tournament and then went on to win State. If Madison won it this year then maybe it is karma for them to win state this season.

true..........HJ will have the biggest team that they have had since the 90-91 team in my opinion.

Nobody gave this years team a chance to compete and they lost in the State Semis........... HJ had going into this season three, yes three players that have ever played Varsity Basketball!!!!!! Those players were Benard, Burrell and Turner...........no other Hawk had ever played a Varsity game!!!!!!

Absolutely Silsbee would have had a chance!!!! I feel HJ should have won even though prior to the tip I would have given HJ less than a 50% chance of winning. LE is the best team that HJ played all year by far!!!!!!!! They do it all..........press, trap, man, inside, outside game, etc. Very well balanced team.

Silsbee will be a totally different team next season..............they will be more of a inside presence and less of a outside presence since they lost Robinson, Walters and Byers.
