Only 1 more hour til I get to head back to Huntsville!!!!!!! It has been a long 20 hours. Left Beaumont at 3:30 got to see the Hawks beat Hudson, ate mexican food at Margarita's..........I do not drink and drank one beer in honor of Jasper beating Silsbee.........sorry Tiger fans........went to the hotel and slept.........left Huntsville at 7:30 to be at work by 9:30 and now it is almost time to head back to Huntsville to see the Hawks take on the Bulldogs. i find it odd that I am seeing these two in the Regional Final as just 4-5 years ago I was going to most Bulldog games to watch my brother in law Clay Davis coach the Dogs!!!!!!! Best of luck to both teams.

I am sad that I will miss the final LU home game of the year, but my HJ Hawks will be in the Regional Final at 6:30 at Sam Houston Institute of Technology..........I mean Sam Houston State!!! ;D ;D ;D Best of Luck to the Cards and it has been a great two years with the outgoing seniors.......Kenny Dawkins, Brandon McThay, Jay Brown and Triston Worrell!!!!!!!!! I will be sad to see all of you go!!!! Best of luck in your life adventures.

I can't wait!!!! If someone early in the year had said that HJ and Jasper would be in the Regional Final game tomorrow then many a bets would have been laid!!!!! I am proud of the Hawks for making it 3 years in a row!!!! Time to take care of business tomorrow and then go to the "Big House"!!!!! No prediction here other than.........I hope that HJ scores more points than Jasper!!!! ;)

This is not going to be a easy game for either team. Fortunately neither have played each other this season so it will not be a case of knowing each teams every move. Should be a great game.

Congrats Silsbee on a great season. I know this is not how it was suppose to end, but that is fate sometimes. You guys are a truly great team and I really do feel bad for the Seniors.....Nick, Shannon and Brady. I know it went through your minds that you had beaten this team by 44 and you were thinking it was going to be a cakewalk tonight, but Jasper had other plans. Congrats again on a great season Silsbee and best of luck Jasper tomorrow against HJ.

I feel that HJ was very fortunate to advance tonight. They missed way to many FT's, had way to many careless passes and TO's and made some poor decisions in fouling. However I applaud them for overcoming adversity when it looked as if it was Hudson's night. Trey Burrell had a great game tonight!!! Now to the refs!!! They were equally as bad for both teams. For the best player on one team to foul out with 4 minutes remaining and the 2nd best player on the other team to foul out with 6 minutes is pathetic!!!! I applaud Hudson for not giving up and for #10 keeping his team in the game while sitting on the bench after fouling out!!!! It is truly sad that someone had to lose the game and you could tell from several of the Hudson players that they were devestated. #10 and #23 are both studs and they are the heart of the team. Best of luck next season to Hudson and to HJ tomorrow against Jasper.
