I have a feeling that this will be pursued by someone like Nederland, Livingston, Central or PNG that just misses out on the playoffs!!!

I guess that the leafy green stuff that the cop saw on his jeans was just some clovers they picked up in the yard huh, or was it parsley? I don't care if it is a no name, a famous person at some point you have to set a precedence and make a point. Unfortunately this time it is a player from Ozen who some of you think are the almighty in high school hoops!!!!!

It is the job of the Enterprise, Examiner and any local news channel to report what is news....regardless of whether someone has a problem with it or not...........Nobody complained when the HJ coached was released last month did they?

OK...........say the coach did not know.........now they do!!!!! What are they going to do about it? That is the real question!!!!!

It was never made public because it was handled the right way and not something that someone tried to sweep under the rug!!!!!!

Actually it has happened and the AD, Principal and school board handled it accordingly. BTW the player in question was dismissed from the team that he/she played on. That is the way it should be handled!!!

2 pickems left in the regular season and I am two games down. Last night killed me going 5-5. HJ played really well at times last night and they were without Burrell.

that's not the issue. to be honest, i don't really see anyone bashing a player on here, just the coach and administration. the biggest gain from high school sports is character, and if the Ozen coach and AD lets this go without punishment, he turns into just another athlete who realizes he can get away with whatever he wants, as long as he keeps scoring. when i was in high school a few years ago, we had kids suspended for MIPs for tobacco. what does this say if a kid gets caught with marijuana and faces no disciplinary action from his coach? but he'll be punished by the state so no need for double punishment No need for double punishment???? Are you serious? The kid was arrested for drugs....he should be done!!! End of discussion!!!!!

He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (drugs)!!!!! He should be kicked off the team, out of school and sent to jail. Time that someone teaches these young kids that this type of stuff will not be tolerated!!!!! I would bet anything that Ozen officials and coaching staff knew about this several games ago also!!!!!

Nothing will be done until after the season.......that is a guarantee.......Ozen can't win without him, so they will do nothing until Ozen is out of the playoffs.
