OK Granny......I made a bet with AAW in the HJ/Silsbee game at HJ and lost that is why my name on the board has changed!!!! How about a bet in the game at Silsbee? I will take HJ and the 33 points that you are saying that you will win by. I win you change your screen name to a name that I choose for two weeks. You win and I will change mine to a name of our choosing for two weeks. Do we have a bet?

Granny please let's be realistic. This would only happen if HJ was without a significant player or two. The team that Silsbee has and the team that HJ has it will be a good game. I would be willing to bet that if HJ and Silsbee win out and that Coop's line will be Silsbee -10. That is respectable however to say that Silsbee will win by 33 is just plain stupid!!!! :D

It is either Custer or Nwevo starting or a "true freshman" or a D2 transfer starting at the 5 next season.

It is hard for LU to play a "big" lineup when you have McThay and Dawkins in the lineup.

That was one game at HJ........HJ would be more prepared for a district game and would not have overlooked Nederland. HJ has beat many a team that they do not match up well with.

The Twin County ballpark over the last few weekends and today is taking on a new look. All TC players and parents will notice the improvements once the season begins. Here is a list of items that are being replaced or repaired during the last few weeks and over the workdays: Power Washing Dugouts Power Washing All Concrete Slabs Repainting all Dugouts and Poles Cleaning of Maintenance Barn and around it Pinto Field Royal Blue Wind Screen from foul pole to foul pole Building 10-15 New Picnic Tables Weed Eating Mowing Seeding Parking Lot Repair Parking Lot Boundaries And many other little small projects. Thanks to the New and Improved TCYB Board and especially Sean Williford (Field Director) for their time and effort to make the Twin County Youth Baseball Fields a great enviroment for our youth to grow up and play the game of baseball.

I was only remarking to the fact that you said that Burrell was a non-factor. Trey is going through somethings off the court that have his mind and body not in the right place. He has suffered through them all season for his teammates when any other player would have just thrown in the towel. Give the kid a break!!!! If you only knew what he was going through you would lay off of him!!! This kid has more heart than any other kid on the team!!! I am happy that he is gutting it out right now for his team.

I do not hear you complaining about the refs in the first half when HJ had 8 fouls (Benard 2, Burrell 3 and Turner 3) and OF only had 2!!!! The refs were a bit inconsistent, but the fact that OF hit shots in the first half and did not in the 2nd half was the difference. OF played great D in the first half and then HJ made adjustments in the 2nd half and began to make some shots. HJ had to play passive D in the 2nd because of the foul trouble to the "big 3". Also Ricossa played his rear off last night and he is becoming a force to be reckoned with of late!!!! Congrats to OF on a great game and as I stated in a earlier post I spoke with Hayes after the game and he is a gentleman and apologized for getting excited in the heat of the game. I told him it is part of the game and that it is expected and no reason to apologize about it. The Hayes we saw last night is the Hayes that people have seen for a few years now.

Yes it is......I am trying to prove a point that some people believe that HJ is having a down year and that a 5 point win at OF last night proves that. I am showing them that OF is a tough place and a tough team to play against because of matchups, etc. I also highlighted some games two years ago between WOS/OF!!!
