I know how good SR is!!!!!! He is a top 5 player in the area and a All-Stater!!!!! He is the heart of that team. Just don't come on here and say that they would have beat Cleveland last night if he had played. HE DID PLAY, regardless of whether it was poorly or not!!!!

Well of course the almighty Silsbee Tigers!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D I thought Silsbee was like 12 deep, should have no problem filling the void left by Robinson!!!! : : : Is Robinson going to be ok? Got some swellling in his hand. Just keeping him out for precautionary measures. ok thats good cause i would rather win a state title then a small tournament ;D I think Robinson makes a big diffrence when he his in the game and that they would have beat Cleveland if he was not injured........ There is no guarantee that Silsbee would have won if Shannon would have been healthy. He did play the entire game correct???? well lets take benard out of a game agianst Silsbee and see who will win........

They may very well beat Cleveland if they play again, but a loss is a loss and no excuses other than you got outplayed should be brought up!!!!!!

The loss to Nederland for HJ sure seems to not look so bad now!!!!!! Nederland beats HJ and SOC and then losses to Cleveland in OT. Cleveland beats Silsbee by 11.

I am crossing my fingers on that one. Confidence has been low a few times this year and to lose to OF would really hurt HJ's confidence come district time.

Looks like HJ will get OF a little earlier than expected this season. I was not expecting to play the Bobcats until mid-January sometime. Should be a great game. I hope that HJ shows up with some urgency this afternoon. This game will set the tone for district!!!

Custer hurt his knee in practice and will have a MRI today. I noticed that he was limping last night. I was also told that Nwevo will apply for a Medical Redshirt this season and will be back next season with Nabors. I expect Custer to be out a few weeks if not longer......hope I am wrong!!!!

I think that you are just jealous that this seasons Tiger team is better than your team!!!!! If you only want to talk to people that have played basketball you may only have a few to talk to on here!!!!! Most are fans of their team and not players!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

So were you in the floor when Donahoe and Company handled Silsbee and went on to win a State Championship??? ;D ;D ;D you didnt handle anyone... a freshman pass across court got stolen and then poor coaching didnt call timeout with 15 seconds so we didnt get a shot before the end of regulation... and yea i was on the floor... you got lucky... you had to beat the best team in the state to win state Your right "I" did not handle anyone. Donahoe did however!!!!! HJ was the best team in the State in 2007 and they proved it!!!! Will Silsbee be the best in the State in 2009.....that is yet to be determined!!!! That is basketball and TO's happen, once again maybe it was the Defensive pressure that HJ applied and not the excuses of a freshman TO or bad coaching. Learn how to win and to lose!!!!!! Nice job being a ex-player saying that it was poor coaching. I as sure that TW and his staff will appreciate that!!!!
