HJ has done well in the past with the talent that they have. Coming from a district that has WOS, Silsbee, Kirbyville and Jasper how would you expect to have a winning season? Schedule a bunch of cupcakes and get your kids hopes high only to be pounded in almost every game in district? As most small schools go you play your kids on both sides of the ball and if someone gets injured it affects you on offense and defense!!!! IMO they have won the games over the last couple of years that they were expected to win and have lost the ones that they are suppose to lose. Anymore coach bashing or any player bashing will result in the post being deleted and "you" being removed from this forum!!!!!

How much is Ike suppose to speed up? Moving at 7 mph and it is almost 700 miles from Brownsville and they are calling for landfall in roughly 48 hours!!!

My wife told me to wake her up if they call for the evacuation and she will leave immediately!!!!

I still think it's too late for it. What they're gonna end up with is 250,000+ people on the road, going the same direction at the same time, and all having fuel issues.....just like with Rita! No thanks! I'm staying at the house. I figure I'm safer here than out on the roads. Totally agree!!!!! But I will leave as soon as I can which will hopefully be before noon tomorrow.

I expect the announcement to come at the 2am update on the evacuation.

IMO all SE Texas games will be cancelled in the morning for the entire Week 2 of HS Football

He just said less than 10 posts ago that he still thought Freeport!!!!

I was just informed that the resources that SE Texas had for a evacuation (211) have been sent to South Texas and that now SE Texas may be without them!!!!!

Let's lay off of Coop for his recommendations!!!!! This is his job and he will inform when he can. We cannot expect him to answer every question on this board.
