I will be there Wednesday night when Memphis rolls into town. Hopefully they will beat Gonzaga Saturday to remain undefeated and #1.

I said it when he verbally committed to UT a few months ago.......He will never play one minute for UT!!! Kid will end up playing for a JUCO or some low level college and likely will end up being a star but his attitude is poor. His attitude will cost him a shot at a big time D1 schhol and possibly his career in hoops.

Better call DickVitale and make sure that he knows that the best coach in SE Texas will be on tonight. ;D

No one on here has said anything negative about either of these coaches..........so why all the negativity coming from you. I gave you my opinion......either accept it or do not post on this topic anymore. ;D

The bottom line is this........... You said it is my opinion...It is so leave it at that!!!!!! I did not question your comments about Boutte, I just said Sutherland is better. You can't compare because they have never coached in the same classification at the same time. Another thing that is my opinion is that Ozen always has and will have more talent than any other program in SE Texas. They win because of that and the fact that they have Boutte. Other schools in the area are relying on the talent that they have and good coaching....For Example: (HJ, EC, Kountze and West Hardin). Even the best player on these 4 teams would not start and might not even play for Ozen. So don't tell me the talent is the same. Once again if both had the same team Sutherland would get more out of his players than Boutte would.

Boutte and Sutherland are very similar....they have always been where there is very good talent. Boutte usually has more talent so it does make his job a little easier. Sutherland has to teach his players a little more about the game. Both are great coaches and have had incredible careers and hopefully both will continue until they retire at the schools that they are currently at. Comparing apples to apples......give each coach the same kids and Sutherland will get more out of them then Boutte will.

What do you mean "ACT"? I am proud of what he has done and he has done good for SE Texas.....he looks more appealing than Stephen Jackson as a role model!!!!!! I will be cheering for him and the Celts on March 18th at the Toyota Center. I am a Suns fan so I always pull for whoever is playing the Rockets!!! ;D

DickeyV do you need someone to pat you on the back for "grooming" Perkin's for the NBA? Where has "grooming" him got you to today? Yes the kid has done great....I for one thought he should have gone to college for a couple of years but it looks as though he proved me wrong and made the right decision for him and his family. I am very happy for him!!!! I would think that he has improved becuase of the NBA coaching from Rivers and Co. other than from Boutte and Co. He has matured and grown into a very good NBA center, but not solely because of you and Boutte!!!

I don't want to jump the gun just yet......Without Burrell HJ will have a very tough time at Silsbee and at OF. Should they happen to lose one of those there could be a playoff for first place. Let's just take it one game at a time Hawks and Hawk Fans!!!!!!

Maybe LU should bring in the Hawk Hecklers to teach the Cardinal students how to do it!!!!! ;D .
