I am a HJ alum and have seen them win their last two state titles and this team will NOT repeat. I wish they would, but it is very difficult to repeat. I think that they will win district with one loss at Silsbee and will lose in the Regional Tourney. I hope my predictions are wrong and that they prove me wrong!!!

I think in a SE Texas tourney that Ozen would likely win. If the bracket was setup right I could see the following being the top 8 seeds!!! 1...Ozen 2...Memorial 3...HJ 4...Silsbee 5...EC 6...Central 7...Kountze 8...Vidor Some will question my seeds, but I feel like in a tournament format that those would fit. Vidor will surprise many teams!!!! Besides who else could you possibly put in at #8?

The HJ coaching staff was pushing him to sign with SFA and he chose not to...SFA was at the high school on signing day ready to sign Ryan and he told them no!!!!!

Ryan is playing at Navarro Junior College in Corsicana with Richard Netherly last I heard. He actually turned down strong offers from Wagner, Nichols State and SFA. He also had some verbal offers from Mississippi and another school in New York. His AAU coach told him he could get better offers than those that had been offered......HE WAS WRONG and now is going the JUCO route!!!
