No, as you said earlier teams have bad nights. I was not at the game that night but I heard it was ugly. Any team can beat any team on any given night.

Remember only one team will come out on top this year in 3A. Hopefully it will be HJ!!!! There is no doubt that this is the best HJ team has had in a few years. I believe that they can all the way, but if they don't I know that because of my actions other people on this board will not throw stones at me.

Same goes for the mens program....there has been a ton of talent that LU let get out of town. There is some right now that is slipping away also.

It is perfectly fine to support your school. I have been doing it since I graduated in 1991. I never take anything personal on any board. But some people don't take trash talking very well. And if you dish it out and lose you better be able to take it. HJ has alot of fans that are dishing it out pretty heavy right now (more importantly to teams that HJ is not even playing) so they better be ready if/when HJ loses!!! Hopefully HJ will be able to talk trash til the cows come home, but just be prepared if they don't!!! One other thing to remember is to never take anything personal on here. These boards are here fo rpeople to voice their opinions. That is what everyone is doing!!! Keep it up and continue to support the Hawks, I am!!!!

I did see the Donahoe and Letsinger shots on another website and both were very impressive. I am trying to remember what the best is that I ahve seen...will have to get back with you.

I think that this will be a great game. In the other games teams have played each other or played someone who has played them. In the WOS-WH matchup neither team will eally no what to expect. Should be a great game, can't wait for tomorrow night.

Hopefully at some point the young HJ fans will learn to keep their mouths shut and let basketball do the talking!!!

Not that is matters, but how many of Kountze, East Chambers and Evadale's State Championship apparences were with a EX-HJ coach or alum???? Answer: ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!! Kountze: Sutherland and Joubert (Ex HJ Assistant and Current Coach...Ex HJ Alum) East Chambers: Sutherland (Ex HJ Assistant and Current Coach) Evadale: Terrier (Ex HJ Head Coach) Must be something in the water over there!!!!!

Yes HJ lost to Splendora last year. That was last year!!!! HJ is a much better team this year than they were last year. Hey they may not win a game in the playoffs this year again but they were still district champs!!!! Good Luck to WOS and Silsbee in the run for Austin!!!

I agree but HJ is taking alot of heat on this board. This is just like boards on other websites and they are for opinions. Everyone has an op[inion whether you or I agree is beside the point. I am frustrated with alot of the younger HJ fans that continue to run their mouths because they make the older HJ fans look bad. I would love to see WH win 1A, EC or Kountze 2A, HJ, WOS, or SIlsbee win 3A, Ozen, Central or Dayton win 4A and Memorial or WB win 5A. How gret would that be. I will pull for any SE Texas team to do well. I am a HJ fan/alum and want them to come out on top. I just think alot of HJ people need to chill.

Be careful SETXSLAM this is not a HJ board only!!! The natives might get restless if we talk too much about HJ. It was an incredible shot and the air got sucked out of the gym when it went in.

HJ has a little dribblers program and it is called "Twin County". It consists of the areas of Sour Lake, China, Nome and pretty much any where in between. Same as the school district.

L_Town, What you are saying is true with just about every team in the area. If your best player has a bad night they are going to be in trouble. If Letsinger, Thomas, Brown were to have a bad game then WH, EC and Memorial would be in trouble. This HJ team has something that a HJ team has not had in years and that is some real leadership and more importantly they have heart!!!! BTW Jarvis Bernard is very good and will pick up the slack if needed. PS--When was the last time that your school made the playoffs and got past the 1st round.

Are you talking "recent" post season success....or are you talking post season success for each schools history??? If you are talking recent than you have a point. If you are talking in school history you might to adjust your story!!

I would watch what you say to WOS. They could meet HJ in the playoffs and you would look like a real dumb a$$ if they upset HJ!!!

A warm up game is just that. Just a game to fill in before the playoffs start to stay fresh and maybe work on a few new things. I would rather the game not matter than have a game like EC and Kountze are going to have that has huge implications!!!

Would you be referring to HJ??? I have given you guys plenty of respect all season long and I would think that me picking WOS by 4 points shows that!!!!!!
