First game is at Silsbee

Poppa if HJ can win both games tomorrow I plan on broadcasting Friday morning at 9:30.  Can you make it if I do?

HJ wins 80-37 over Dayton HJ plays LCM for the 3rd time this season at 6:30 tonight.

Yes, Rupp is connected to a mall and to a hotel, which is where we are staying!!!!!! Pretty dang sweet!!!! Just got back from the team practice in Rupp.........Coach Knight spanked me and my son in a game of HORSE!!!!

Lamar Men's Basketball team continues their brutal OOC schedule with their 3rd team ranked in the Top 10 in the country this week as the Cards take on the #3 ranked Kentucky Wildcats in Rupp Arena!!! My son (Little Lazeek) and I are getting to travel with the team.  We leave on a bus from the Montagne on Tuesday and ride to Bush Airport to catch a flight into Lexington.  Stay at the team hotel, eat all meals with the team, go to the shoot around and then attend the game on Wednesday night.  My son and I are both very excited about traveling with the team.  Watch the Cards and the Wildcats on ESPNU at 7:30 on Wednesday night!!!!

That is not how I read it. I think what they are saying is that the big kid leaving will hurt them more with depth, than him being an impact player in the game.  They will now have to find someone to replace him in the starting lineup, and that in turn means that someone will have to likely move up from JV also.  Silsbee was never going to beat you this year with size, it was always going to be with speed, quickness and pressure.  None of that has changed!!!

Great win for LU.  The post for Rice is a stud.  Some of the best moves for a 6'7 post I have ever seen.  Owls did not go to him much in the 2nd half.  Tudor Fieldhouse is a lot nicer than it used to be.  Love the new video board, and how they used it during the game.  Rice must be trying to pay for renovations with ticket prices..... :o :o :o  $30 for Courtside with Chairbacks, $20 for Courtside with no Chairbacks and $15 for upen bench seats!!!!! James was unreal tonight for the Cards!!!! Great win, and great to see the LU fans out tonight.  LU was close to having more fans that Rice did!!! 8) 8)

I was told that Jacksonville was a solid team.  Very quick and athletic.  Not the biggest team that HJ has faced, but quick and athletic.  Similar to Kingwood Park, but KP had more players that had basketball smarts. Solid win for the Hawks.  19-0 and now a nice 11 days before their next game.  Need to rest those legs after a stretch of 15 games in 17 days!!!!
