  1. If the Oilers get through Highisland Tues. without injury, I think this will be a great contest. I am really looking forward to Friday night. I hope everyone from BS is healthy. With the Oilers 6th man,(Great Fans)- I will give the edge to WH by 4, in a close one. And to go along with Mr. Reality, if WH pulls the upset, I think Coach Fuller should be up for coach of the year, although BS coahes are good. The only reason I mention upset is, BS is undefeated in District, and won in the head-to-head comp. But I would like to see WH pull the upset. AS THE MOTTO GOES:
  2. If HD runs the floor and plays, pressure "D", I think it could be a blow out. They must contain #44 and PRESSURE the ball, all night.I saw the game in WH Friday and I believe, if they continue to shoot and move the ball inside, they won't have any problem. Good Luck HD. HD by 15 to 20.
  3. Great TEAM effort Friday night WH, this is what it's going to take to get to the show. You must show up every night ready to play with great intensity. Coach Fuller excellent job, you had them ready to play, and they responded like good teams should. HD played the best game I have seen them play 5 players in double figures that says alot, good luck this tues vs Spurger. Great to be a part of this kind of atmosphere. WH fans keep it up, I challange everyone to gear up for this Friday we will need to raise the roof for Big Sandy Fri night, I am really looking forward to the rematch. But lets stay focused for Highisland tues. "One at a Time". Great Senior Leadership WH, experience paid off. 22-1 WOW,lets keep believing & keep that faith.
  4. Hats off Oilers (21-1), ya'll hung tough on the raod. Pressure defense was the difference. Senior leadership stepped it up tonight. Led by Letsinger, Simmons and Thomlinson really stepped it up. Great defense on #44,(Hashaw & Laird) I believe he was held to 8pts and had 4 fouls. Big win for WH. Just remember 1 game at a time, no looking ahead. Big game Friday against HD @ Home. Hey 5, keep your head up ,you are going to have off nights, let it go. Great team effort. Great coaching, stepped it up in the second half with the pressure. Lets get focused on this Friday, not next Friday.
  5. What about Letsinger & Copeland from West Hardin, also Sam Elliott from Hull Daisetta,(this weeks player of the week). They have all been shooting lights out behind the line. Don't have any stats.
  6. Yea, The original date was Thur. 18 it was moved to Fri. 19 and it is @WH, I believe 6:30 start. Good job Oilers, last night vs. Evadale. Got kinda sloppy at times, but a win is a win.
  7. Again I would like to mention, the diff. in the BS-WH matchup was, BS was fresh the entire game. With Letsinger and Tubbs sidelined because of Health issues, that limits the substitution factors. To my knowledge Copeland & Tomlinson never came off the court. Simmons & Hashaw got into foul trouble, thats the only reason they he came off. But from a team stand point they never gave up, and that is why this team is 17-1, they play till the buzzer,no quit in them, and hustle the whole game, so keep all that in mind. They have a great "TEAM". They were also playing another great team in the State in Big Sandy.
  8. I have know problem with the list, infact there are alot more than 30 good players in the triangle area, EC, Kountz, HJ, WOS, WB, OZEN, just to name a few. But give a little credit where credit is due, WH was the only undefeated team in the State (boys) to my knowledge. So that should say a little something. Its hard to please everyone, so keep up the good work.
  9. I have'nt see all these kids play either, and do agree with your top 30, but what happened to Copeland, what a gutsy performance against Big Sandy last night. He kept his team in the game the 1st half, 18 out of 26. I think he was right there with his teammate(Letsinger) last week. What a shot Letsinger had at the end of the 3rd in BS, 93ft. WOW, Hi-light real for sure, ESPN material.
  10. Hats off to Big Sandy great scouting-- coaches!! - great post play, outstanding in and around the paint, and good from the stripe. Hats off to Copeland and the Oilers, keep your Heads Up, ya'll have an outstanding ball club. 17-1 nothing to hang your heads about. You will have another shot in WH, and a Health Letsinger. Shot to remember 1.05 sec left in 3rd & 93ft. away & gutsy performance with the bug from Letsinger . Copeland is a baller, what a first half performance. Take it for what its worth, BS can sub 5 at a time, and all that changes is there, big man down low. The pace off the game never changed, and coaches kept the kids fresh. Great Game looking forward to WH @ home. Look out BS.
