True very true - as my dear ole mother used to say "sometimes I just can't leave well enough alone". I really do not mind to back and forth that this site has - but sometimes just sometimes is hits me wrong - may just be the mood I am in at that time. But ya'll have fun over the next week cause you very likely will not hear from me as I am going on vacation and I plan on leaving my work and personal computers way behind. Hope everyone gets the wins they need and want this weekend.

Getting a little touchy are we?

This I think is the make or break game for the Aggie's post season wishes. Lose here and likely a loss with LSU and you end the season at 7 - 4 and get a lower tier bowl game. Win here and the win against - whose is that again - and you go into the LSU game at 8 - 2 which will make that a great game to watch and then have a chance at a decent bowl game - not a great one but decent - if they can pull the upset of LSU - well let's wait and see. Prediction: Auburn - 24 A&M - 37 Let's see if Kyler can continue to mature.

I'm told Charlie Strong "cussed out" his Texas staff after Iowa State loss, told them staff "had been out coached." The out coached part I think is an understatement.

Yeah all Texas fans have to worry about is what happens after the kickoff - regardless of the game time.

Does not make much difference at this time anyway - Baylor and TCU when they play will eliminate one of them - same can be said of LSU or Alabama this weekend.

You are right on Johnny's current situation - I think he is well past the 3rd inning myself - and I am one that has defended him and still would like to see him straighten out his personal and professional life cause I do believe he has the talent to have a chance to succeed in he NFL - but it is looking like he is still shooting himself in the foot. But that being said - Johnny was crucified by many on this site for much less than this guy has done - hell when he went legally to a casino and flashed money some wanted him punished for that - lol.

I tend to agree and this was not the first time this year - I do not know who the O coordinator is but his job title should be looked at as it looked like to me that Texas was set on what they were trying to do and when that did not work well lets try in again and see if it works no change or modification as the game went on - not a good sign- if I saw right IS had 2 LB targeting Heard to stop his run game and was daring Texas to pass - IS might have just given out the key to stopping Texas to the last 4 teams they face this year.

Really no I do not think that A&M would beat either of those teams as I am a realist. But I also have a good memory and in 2013 when A&M lost to 4 top 20 teams and lost 3 of those games by 7 points or less there were many Texas fans on this site that stated "A Loss is a Loss" quit making excuses about how good the team you lost too was - And no I think it is comical that Texas fans are using the same argument to support their team this year. You need to understand I think it was then and is now a legitimate argument then as well as for Texas now - but you can't dismiss it when it applies to A&M and use it when it applies to your team. I think I have been fair to Texas and thought that they had possibly turned a corner - after tonight they might have hit a truck that ran a red light before they turned the corner But with that you can never use a loss to Iowa State as a "good" loss - Never!

Houston has been impressive - look for them to lose their after the season.

Texas will have to win 3 of their last 4 - gonna be a tough road to hoe. Kansas is a guaranteed win. Baylor I think is a very probable Loss. That means that Texas will have to beat both TT and WVU - they will have to improve from today's performance to accomplish that feat.

I think that A&M would beat both Baylor and TCU by 21 points each - see I can say things that can never be proved or dis-proved as well. Fact is A&M D was questionable today just as Texas O was awful today - only 2 differences: (1) SC is a better program than Iowa State (2) A&M won and Texas did not.

Good reach but not really even what the SEC argument is. If you lose to a team that can't beat them either does not help man.

Total shock to me as this game was total domination by Iowa State - Texas still has a ways to go.

What Defense - lol

Will withhold judgement on Murray till he plays a few more games - in this one he looked good - but how many 1 game wonders have there been at QB? D needs to quite giving up big plays - my take is players trying to make a big play and not following technique - therefore the big plays. A win is a win so I will take it.

Eagle11 have a very good friend that is my age that is still that way - when Oklahoma loses you do not want to be around him as he is mopey and a sourpuss - you appear to have outgrown that phase as we all need to remember that it is just a game and won't really change out lives one way or the other. I have not been that bad for many many years now but since I am very competitive and hate to lose in just about anything sometimes members like GCMPats have to help me out and remind me that it is just a game and A&M is just a college and there are many more important things on my plate and in life. I now hope that whatever game I am watching that nobody is seriously hurt - and well that A&M wins and Texas loses as it makes posting on this site much more fun

Texas wins fairly easily in my opinion - riding high and full of confidence and do not think that IS can derail that - prediction: Texas - 31 Iowa State - 17
