Good win for Texas - did not think they would beat WVU. Maybe Texas and A&M can meet in a bowl game - would like to see that.
-
Who did Auburn beat - How about Kansas State, LSU and Ole Miss.
-
TxHoops - I Keep hearing you state that all the recruits that A&M has lined up are "jumping ship" - yet all the recruiting sites still have all of them listed. Will they change - maybe - but you keep wishing will not make them leave any faster - IF they do leave. Texas has several recruits shopping their talents still as well - are they jumping ship as well?
-
Where ever it is I believe that it will be sold out :)

As my High School coach would say "This would be the toilet bowl - both teams in the toilet with their hands on the flusher - the winner gets to flush the other team down the drain". Statement he used for consolation games in basketball tournaments. I think this is unlikely - but if it were to happen would allow a game that would mean something to at least Texas and Texas A&M fans.
-
Did not say that Texas A&M had a quality win - but at least one A&M win was against SC who beat Georgia (currently 17th) who has any team that Texas beat won against? Answer NOBODY! Again - these arguments are moot - Only argument is which team is worse than the other.
-
Neither A&M or Texas fans have any room for bragging rights so far this year. But Texas fans can start talking about assumptions when Texas actually wins a game against a team that has won more than 2 games and all 4 teams they did beat the most impressive win of any of those teams was against Kansas  And which is worse - the A&M Defense of the Texas offense? There could be legitimate arguments both ways. Texas A&M Defense - 76th Texas Offense - 99th
-
No doubt that Mr. Allen was not the product that was expected :(
-
And if A&M was in a conference with Iowa State, Texas Tech and Kansas they would have 3 more wins - the only other team that Texas has beaten is North Texas (a team that by the way rice beat by 20 points) . So I guess teams have a choice - weak non-conference schedule (A&M) or just stay in a conference were 1/2 of the games are guaranteed wins (Texas).
-
Could be a long rest of the season. But Auburn better be careful or they might just beat the spread B) :(
-
When you have lost 3 in a row like A&M has you try anything to get the spark back - I just hope it works B)

No way Nebraska jumps from 15 to the top 4 - just do not see that happening. I would be surprised if Oregon does not make it in. But I just loved the response that 3 SEC teams at this time were considered by the committee as the best teams in the country. Had to love the response from the general public - but as I stated if anyone thought this was going to absolutely answer the question as to who the best team in the country is they are going to be sadly mistaken. All this showed is that at least with the selection committee the SEC still rules. SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC :P Assume this was end of year and the committee did indeed pick these 4 teams - them I think that Oregon, TCU, MSU, Alabama, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Baylor, Arizona State, Arizona and Nebraska all have possible legitimate claims to be part of the top 4 - Hell even some of the 2 loss teams could make a case.
-
Yeah - the good about Texas and the Bad about A&M
-
At least once :P I stated that this week was likely a must win for Texas to become bowl eligible - might could say the same for Texas A&M - with Auburn and LSU still left La Monroe and Missouri look like the only 2 remaining games they are likely to have a good chance to win. But I am hoping for an upset in either the LSU or Auburn games - think upset in both is a dream.
-
This may be a must win game for Texas as far as becoming bowl eligible this year. They will have to win 3 game of the final 4 - and I think that TCU and WVU are going to be tough wins - and OSU will not be a push over either.
-
WNCIP - Hey will you and other Texas fans PLEASSSSSE get back on topic #WRTS is NOT the topic of this thread - dang the topic changes here are giving me a headache :D
-
WNCIP - You are right I did mis-quote the team. TCU - hung the 82 on TT. :P
-
Texas wins this game. Texas Tech is the only defense that may be worse than A&M's. But I do not expect that Texas will put up near the 80+ that OSU did.
-
Briles - sorry for the name error :P
-
Broyles unlike other coaches in Texas has made a living off of getting 3 Star players and making a good program with them. If he starts getting 4 and 4 star recruits who knows where this program could end up.
-
This is a no win game for the Aggie's. They win big and "They should beat this team that bad." If it is closer than the 31.5 points then the "whats wrong with the Aggie's" continues. A&M will have to play Auburn a good game if they want the questions about the program to subside.
-
If anyone thinks that this is going to solve the question of who is the best they are sorely mistaken - there are several teams that will have 1 or 2 losses that will and should be in the conversation about a playoff. Until they make it more than a 10 team process there will always be the "what about this team or that team" after the selection process is completed. My Prediction on the top 4 for the first week: Mississippi State Florida State Oregon Alabama Next Two: Notre Dame Michigan State Alabama or Mississippi State will drop out when they play each other in a couple of weeks - watch the SEC screw it up and have Alabama beat MS and then both of them will be on the bubble :( Florida State will likely win out as should Oregon. And if Michigan State beats Ohio State this weekend they likely will win out as well.
-
Actually my quote was "coming out in droves" - at least get your quotes right ;)
-
LSU lost to Mississippi State and Auburn - two pretty good teams this year. I think the raise by them was justified - and I am not an LSU fan at all
-
WNCIP - not spinning anything. I have yet to see a thread start by an Aggie the ask "what to say about Texas now?????
