Sorry but Texas offense is as bad as Texas A&M defense - toss a coin as to which is worse.

Gotta love Texas fans - when A&M got blown out the Texas fans came out in droves to say how bad Texas A&M is - but get defensive when Aggies poke the same fun. You need to understand that this is a two way street - but some can dish it out but can't seem to take it.

You may well be right - but which powerhouse programs would Texas have have to give up:  North Texas? (yeah they also beat SMU), Kansas? or perhaps Iowa State?   Sorry but in my opinion the teams that Texas has played are not that much stronger than the teams that A&M has played.  Rice and Lamar have won more games than Kansas, North Texas and Iowa State combined.  Notice I did leave SMU out since they have not won a game - but when they were scheduled they were not that bad a program.

Yeah - middle of the pack you may well be right - However, they would still be better this year than that team that wears Orange and White.

"We Regret The SEC"   While the ass-whippen' that Alabama put on A&M was hard to watch.   There are very few Aggie's that regret the decision to go to the SEC in any way, shape or form - so far we are very happy there.

Would be very surprised if this happens myself.

Still taking up for Mack the knife!         No - Mack can take care of himself.

Would really like to see that - likely the best bowl game possible at this time for both teams  :D

Petty has showed this year that he is a good QB but do not think he has proven to be a Heisman contender.

This year - still considered a better team than Texas even after their blowout loss - so far  ;)   A&M - 28th Texas - 65th (Do not believe they are that low myself)

And obviously Snyder has to go. There is no excuse for what you've guys have endured on his side of the ball. No matter how good the offense is, you can't win when the other team can move the ball with literally any play they call.    I agree totally - while you can make an argument that the offense has struggled as well it has had moments of being very good even in the games against quality teams.  Bur the defense has never really looked that good.  Early in the season they were making a few stops but overall were still porous and slow.  I noted the improvement that they appeared to have early in the season but that has evaporated.  They also do not have the aggressiveness that is needed to be a good defense.  What sticks out to me is how many arm tackles and missed tackles that the secondary has had – you get through the front line and you have a 10 – 15 (or more) yard gain every time.

Thank You GCMPats2,    This has brought me perspective again - I seem to lose it on a regular basis.  I seem to many times get caught up in supporting or defending the teams that I like and even sometimes put the teams down that I do not like as much.    But as this reminds me - Football is just a game and I need to remember that always as there are many many more important things then who wins or loses on a Friday or Saturday.   God Bless.

The Heisman is Marcus Mariota's to lose at this time - he puts up any kind of numbers and keeps the turnovers down he will win hands down.

Fact is A&M got embarrassed Saturday by Alabama - and has not played good in 3 weeks.   Now comes the Texas fans bashing everything that A&M has done the last 3 years and prognosticating the end of the A&M football team and in some cases the end of Texas A&M in general - Lol - that is nothing new from Texas fans as always all things Texas are great and all things A&M are BAD.     The verdict is still out on Sumlin and I for one think that he has been and will be continue to be good for A&M in the future - but as always only time will tell.  The last 3 weeks and how the A&M teams responds I think will do much to determine how Sumlin's legacy will be regarding the 2014 season and quite likely his tenure at A&M.   My big concern is that not many really good coaches get beat 59-0 - how will that affect many thing from this years standings to recruiting for next year.  

WAIT – you are questioning an Aggie starting a thread titled “Texas at #11 K-State” a normal thread to start discussion of a coming game – and yet you do not question a Texas fan starting a thread titled “What to say about A&M now?????” just to make fun of a rival.   Please from now on since it seems to bother you please only post and start forums about Texas.

Texas goes back to the L column this week again.  Hey - but the Texas fans can have all week to laugh at A&M due to the Bama game - so who really cares if Texas wins or not  ;) - right?

The last 3 games have shown that Texas A&M was not as good as many Texas A&M fans and others thought.  And yes Texas A&M still has Sumlin who regardless of the last game has had A&M on the forefront of NCAA football and recruiting for at least for a little.  And Texas fans yes GO AHEAD and rejoice at this loss by the Aggie's.  The rest of the season will determine just how bad this season can be  - Auburn is the only guaranteed likely loss left on the schedule.  Can Sumlin muster the team or not - we will have to see.   By the way Texas fans - enjoyed the great win (but it was a win) against the powerhouse Iowa State - Didn't North Dakota State beat them worse????

These 3 games I believe have the distinct possibility of losing the recruits they have lined up - if Sumlin can still keep them all he is a recruiting genius.

Texas A&M Story   How to go from contender to pretender in 3 short weeks - and in 3 steps - Miss State, Ole Miss and Alabama.   If they do not fire the DC I will be greatly disappointed.

You are 100% correct - many Texas Tech fans hate Texas A&M.  As a fan of both schools it is really hard to find many people that will rout for both.  I remember 3 instance at Tech that I will always remember:   1.  When I took my son up for a visit the person giving the tour stated that the statue of the horse in one of the main courtyards of the school stated that ass of the horse faces directly at College Station; 2.  Took my brand new truck up to a Texas A&M game - and had it keyed since it had an A&M sticker on it; and 3.  Went to eat just while travelling thru Lubbock and was almost not served my food due to the fact I was wearing an A&M hat and she had no problem telling me why she would not serve us - totally hilarious.

Would love to watch those games - good match up of historically good programs.   Also - two great venues for Saturday prime time games.

I could have told you that without a survey.  To Texas fans Texas is the best in everything regardless of the situation - some - a lot- of Texas fans are ... well arrogant and always have been.   Texas is like many companies that I could mention that HAD a monopoly on the State of Texas for many many years and now that other companies are catching up or surpassing to what Texas has they keep referring to the past.     Fact - Texas is a great university with a great history.  But so is Texas A&M, Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech and others .........  Even on the football field Texas has been caught - just accept that.
