Yes they are Agricultural and Mechanical - but anything can be used with a sarcastic tone. I am just happy the defense appears better and Hill appears to be the real deal as well. Looks like it might be another good year.

Hey were is whatnamecanipick - hiding after his prediction of the Aggie flameout? -
Hill keeps playing like tonight won't be around long either. However, one games does not a great player make - but he did look poised and capable - future looks good.
-
Lot of unhappy Texas fans tonight - wonder why?

While I still think that JFF will do ok in the NFL - would have been a major mistake for Dallas to draft him - in my opinion. But would have liked somewhere hell anywhere other than Cleveland. -
^^^^^^^^^^ :D

Had an inside and just got a tour of the new field over the weekend - it is pretty awesome now but when it is fully completed it will be pretty hard to beat as one of the best stadiums in the country.

Whatnamecanipick - Popularity and Winning on the field are two completely different things this report is just about the popularity of the State of Texas programs not the best product on the field - I know that is a hard concept for some to grasp - but it is what it is. This was mainly a comment on social media and who follows whom. And PhatMack - even though CBS is nationwide - you know Texas fans will never believe that A&M is better at ANYTHING then Texas so it has to be either biased of just plain wrong - no matter how accurate it really is. Only legitimate question is now with JFF gone can A&M they keep the attention of the social media gurus.

Texas fans don't mind using anything that demeans Aggie's (Igs, Aggy and Agricultural and Mechanical to name a few) but dare you use any of those type statements - like tu - about Texas be sure to be ready to be called stupid and juvenile. Its ok to defend you school as long as that school is not A&M.
-
No I've been here all along - just have a hard time with anyone that "self Proclaims" themself anything. Got tired of the smack talk. Don't worry GMCPats - Texas wins their opener big - and Charlie Strong makes a statement. True test will come later in the schedule.
-
How do you know he does not have QB this year in Hill - think this kid will surprise us all.
-
Damn Saben starts he recruiting at a young age ;) Just lost out on this one.
-
And you like your own quotes - yes yes you must be.
-
Not a good sign for Texas is that he is wearing a Texas Tech shirt :P
-
^^^^^^^ Yes it is !!

I can say that I have always rooted for the Aggie's and for Texas when not Playing A&M, Texas Tech of SFA. But after being on this forum I am going to find it hard to root for the Longhorns again. You can call it dislike, adverse, aversion, animosity, hostility are anything you want - but it sounds like Hate to me - Sorry.

I could go with that name for a year - I do believe that setting as a back-up for a year could do nothing but help him in the long run. Learn the playbook and eat a little humble pie as well as get out to the limelight for awhile. But as the Browns struggle it will be hard to keep him on he bench no matter how ready he is - the pressure will be on. -
In this we have to agree - while it has been years since I last visited that campus (in fact it was still SW Texas State when I did) they have the best views in the State.
-
Not in my opinion ;)

Yes expectations are HUGE at Texas - and that is because of its storied past - The fact is that Texas and it's fans do not like to lose. Texas A&M whether Aggie's wish to admit it or not do have lower expectations - but those expectations are growing and I believe that the mediocrity accepted at times in the past will not be allowed to last long at A&M any longer either. A&M has taken huge steps to to close the gap between Texas and Texas A&M - what has happened to Texas is that Texas A&M, Baylor, Texas Tech and other have all closed the gap on Texas and Texas is feeling that in its W-L as well as recruiting. Texas is losing recruits to Baylor, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and other that they never really had to fight for in the past - and in a lot of cases they are losing to the other schools. I have stated and will continue to state that Texas up until the 1980's was - without a doubt - the best program in the State of Texas hands down. But since that time - with the notable exception of the 2005 - 2009 seasons is suffering from all the other programs closing the gap on Texas. A&M benefited greatly from the move to the SEC - as I have stated we will have to see over 10 - 20 years how that pays off for them - in Dollars it already has and in national recognition it has already paid off. Will it pay off in Wins we all will have to wait and see. I have also stated that Texas will be back - but I believe that they will not be able to hold the year in and year out title of the best team in the great State of Texas as they will have to share that title more often than they are willing to admit with Baylor, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and perhaps from time to time TCU and Houston. Remember the "Got Milk" comment as you may have to drink a lot if A&M can do what I think they can and come close to matching the 2012 season - I have heard from a player (friend of my son and not a starter) at A&M that the defense is greatly improved from last year - it will have to be for A&M to have a chance at even a decent season.

"Hate is a strong word. You have confused hate with a dislike of an obnoxious fan base. " SO you dislike the Texas Longhorns?????
-
I do not believe that I ever said the 2005 and 2009 where "ancient history" and were not great years in a series of good years for Texas - but I also note the 1980's and 1990's as great years for the Aggie's. I do not see how a skipped the 2013 season - Texas A&M 9-4 (ranked 18th in the AP) and Texas 8-5 (not in the top 25 AP).

Ya'll did rule in the Huffington Post ;)
