how is belfort more deserving of a title shot that chael is of a rematch? belfort won one fight at 195 he hasnt won a fight at 85 yet so i dont see how you can just put him in the mix. yeh its a money fight because people want to see silva fight the best guy in the division and as of right now its sonnen, the cut to 95 was a lot for belfort who knows how hard that extra 10 lbs will be
-
this will be silvas most competetive fight yet sonnen is a big 185er with good wrestling and not afraid to go after silva. and yeh venom the same one submitted my maia but if anderson would have went to the ground with maia he would have gotten submitted too. sonnen or belfort are the only 2 ppl i can see beating silva at 85... and if silva doesnt put on a performance he deserves to be cut ppl want to see a fight not a decent 1 round performance then a guy having convulsions for the other 4 rounds
-
rumors are floating around faber may move up to 55 to fight penn whats eberybody think about this? i think it would be the best fightas far a challenge for bj out there
-
looks like a great card to me i think the 185 belt will be changing hands in this one and couture should dominate coleman.

how can you say randy didnt win that fight?? it was extremly boring but vera only landed shots once in one round. randy controlled the fight and the tempo so according to the scoring outline he should win (striking, grappling, aggression, and cage control)... and yeh i think they should make hardy fight the winner of rumble and kos for gsp because i think rumble is way more deserving and a better match for gsp

lesnar will be to big and athletic for fedor.

it was very close but i do think rogers won the round because i think the judges would put more into the punch that cut fedor and the GnP that rogers did than the takedown of fedor and his couple of combos -
lesnar will be to big and athletic for fedor.

i didnt say carwin had a lot of quality wins but i do believe that carwin and gonzaga are both better than rogers. and i believe that kongo is very close to the caliber striker of arvloski just not well rounded at all. and i do believe arvloski was outstriking fedor until he tried a flying knee and got caught.. -

rogers didnt do anything but he wasnt really expected to i mean he was a 6to1 underdog, and IMO isnt even close to a top 10 heavyweight hes 10-1 with only 1 win against a credible guy. i dont think hes fought a much better striker than kongo. i think the only chance Fedor has against lesnar or carwin would be to get a takedown and put them on their back which i dont think he could do. i agree with hughes fan though make the cut to 205 and cement the 1# p4p ranking people are putting on him -

i hate lesnar with a passion but after seeing fedor last night i believe that lesnar carwin mir or even kongo(if he kept it standing) would give fedor all kinds of problems. he couldnt have timed that punched anymore perfect though -
saying that lesnar doesnt stand a chance on the ground with fedor isnt true brock controlled mir on the ground one of the best BJJ guys in the heavyweight division other than nog. unless fedor can take brock down and put him on his back i see him having troubles with the size difference come fight night brock will have probably 60 lbs on him.... really excited about the card this weekend though

yeh that would be a dream card.. im really looking forward to the condit daley fight winner gets anthony johnson for a shot at gsp :)

i scored it 49-46 for rua i think he did plenty to win the fight you should have to beat the champ to get the belt but u shouldnt have to knock him out or sub him to do. lyotos face was cut in a couple of places and ribs were starting to turn purple while u couldnt even tell shogun got hit in the face...good news is dana said there will be an immediate rematch between the 2

Kimbo vs Houston Alexander in the mix for 107....

mixedmartialarts.com got a leak from one of the camps... this could be a war -
yeh the triangle he had on machida was nowhere near a finisher, but 2 years out of the cage and coming back to a griffin as a co main event could be tough on ortiz...and yeh critter your right forrest sucks any scrub off the street can beat 2 world top 5s in rampage and shogun, and a top 20 hvy in monson... he got caught and rocked his last fight i wouldnt say forrest has stopped fighting yet..

Not impressed with Roy's win over Kimbo

in an interview with nelson the day before the fight he said they matched him up with kimbo because he was the only one that could beat him, tipping that if kimbo does fight next week he probably wins also kimbo let it leak in his interview that he was training for a december fightin the UFC so hmm.... but yeh very disappointing fight kimbo looked gun shy after all this was his first fight back in the cage from the petruzelli fight.. but like rampage said that was a big ass belly to get off you lol
