I will agree the kids do play hard and give effort.  Correct me if I'm wrong...most small schools have their better freshmen and sophomore on varsity so its hard to judge the JV teams.  It just seems the progress is talked about  but doesn't show on the field.  It sure didn't take Shepherd long to turn it around.

What improvements are you seeing?  Please tell me. No one else can see them.

So in two years when the sophomore are seniors they will compete for a playoff spot?

As you already know...i am stupid. I said the record is an improvement. I didnt say the play was. That is the same. Weaker  pre district games and more of their athletes playing this year...just my stupid opinion.

Kids are always ready to win. The coaches have to prepare them to do so. Is Tarkington really on the rise...looks the same to me.

No, Shepherd is not on the same level as those teams. So... is Tarkington on the same level as Shepherd?

It doesnt show it is being worked on. The only thing that appears to change is the new uniforms every couple years. There are enough athletes at that school to compete.

You are right. I should let the " professionals" handle the football because i am just a "fan". As it looks, the "professonals" are doing a great jod! Sorry for me being so uneducated in the world of high school football and speed and agility programs. 

Tarkington lacks the speed to compete with a good or even average 3A team. This is not a knock on the kids. Maybe the coaching staff should look into a speed and agility program. I know you cant teach speed, but you can improve it some. Size is always an issue with Tarkington, so as a coach why not try to improve the speed and strength?

Tarkington needs more team speed and quickness. They seem to have a couple of players that run ok straight away. Not a real athletic team, but they play hard.

Liberty has no chance against cleveland. Clevelands going to state there the best team in this region.
