i am in total agreement with the last three posts

I played with about 4 central players in club for spindletop and they were all class acts... I dont know about the rest of their team but i know for a fact that they are not all as dirty as people are making them sound. I also know for a fact that they have a couple of the best players in the 20-4a district........i just felt like central needed some love in this topic full of hate, but what i said is all true

this statement is a contradiction in itself. Our weak spot will be perhaps on the defensive side of the field but not the defense itself. The back 1/3 of Lumberton's team will be intact next year. We will be under a lot more pressure in the back without the control in the middle of the field but like you said we will be hurt in the midfield. not the defense. that statement was not a contradiction, the person meant that yalls defense is a weak spot, but with all of yalls midfield losses that aspect of yalls game will also hurt...i think what he means to say is yall will have both a weak defense and midfield

I would bet on Nederland being in tip top shape next year. Although Lumberton is losing key players, i still think they will be one of the teams to beat....and outside of the 20-4A schools Kelly is losing 11 seniors but still should be an excellent team, the talent coming back is unbelievable and there will be a couple of new editions next year coming from middle school who are very good... I also hope and pray that West Brook will be better next year

I really dont think that LCM will be able beat Lumberton, If LCM's keeper is having a good night i say they lose by 2, if he is playing amazing(which he is very well capable of) I say he keeps them to 1

Should be a great game, i think it will go into OT either with a tie at 1's or 2's at the end of regulation. And in OT it could really go either way i think that whoever wants it more will take this one....but if i were a bettin' man teenager, i would put my money on Ned.

i guess it could have an alter meaning, but all cockiness will do is set you up for a huge fall

Weve only faced Nolan the last two years so this will make three... Three years ago when the seniors now were freshmen Kelly played an El Paso team at home, and lost to TCA in the next round.. just trying to help you with the kelly history, coach

When kelly played nederland i believe they only started ONE freshman and around 4 or 5 sophmores..so that means the other half of the team is junior and seniors. So that is roughly half underclassmen and half upperclassmen. and i believe the sophmores and freshman have been playing together for some time now, and they all have very good chemistry.. And for the most part there upperclassmen are all very strong players. so IMO i would agree with aries in saying that Nederland is more experienced

I havent really heard about them or seen them but i dont see my 4 or 5 team beating them so i will fill it in later. And VPsoccer i cant comment on this without adressing what you said about Nederland, i agree they are very good but Lumbertons talent and leadership wont be stopped this year IMO.. and as for them being best in SETX that is debateable, however i guess we will just have to see how the year turns out.. im just going to throw it out there. This is no excuse for a loss because i dont no if Ned. had any injuries, but Kelly had 5 starters injured and Nederland was the last of 6 game in 7 day stretch...So if the playing field would have been level on BOTH sides(meaning we were both at full strength) you cant say that it would not have affected the game in some way, but all that means is it could have been 2-1 nederland, instead of 1-0 nederland....I just want to give you all the facts, before you form an opinion.....just in case you were wondering, the five injured players were senior captains Ben Hanks and Matt Kirby, senior Austin Gibb, and sophmores Zach Clarke and Hunter Allen.

0-0 at the end of regulation.. with about 4 minutes left in first ten minute overtime.. Matt Horning got his head on the end of a Zach Clarke corner to end the game with a golden goal.
