  1. thats pretty ridiculous that they only scored 6 more points in the second half. the coaches musta put in 7th stringers.
  2. I wasn't accusing you so much Setxfootball. I did put alot of emphasis making it look like i was. Sorry. I was accusing some others that all put together this bad opinion. Sorry though to you
  3. Unless HF fumbles quite a bit, I don't think WOS may put too many points on them. HF is going to come up with longer drives to keep the game close. WOS can make them go 3 and out alot but I dont think it will happen everytime. WOS 35 HF 8
  4. Much respect to all the High Island Coaching Staff, and players out there. Just finished watching the news and what they have going out there is fantastic. The coach himself said he had 6 determined players all staying at his house to finish off the football season. The damage out there is terrible and the players remain with high hearts. Best of luck to them and I hope they can end this season on a great note.
  5. It really is colmensneil's last hope for victory...They put up high numbers against Legacy real early in the season, then Legacy put a huge beating on Mt... But luck to both teams and thats great that Sabine Pass is back
  6. That's EXACTLY what OF is going to have to do to have any chance of winning the game. BC never wrapped up and Turner put a beatin' on them after first contact. Peevey is a little banged up on the other side
  7. It's just a ranking system based on points, record, etc. Its not based on who's better than who. Cleveland is obviously just playing better within their games, thus being ahead of PN-G. Plus Cleveland really is a decent team. I think their loaded in the backfield.
  8. Just like a surgeon, a referee needs to feel as confident as possible. If a surgeon messes up, they get a terrible hearing from people. If a referee messes up they'll get a loud boo from the crowd. (Thats a terrible comparison between a surgeon and a ref, but just saying ;D) Hopefully she'll feel more confident making calls on the field and will do better knowing she's not the only one. We probably need more lady refs anyways for the some guy refs i've seen making terrible calls lately.
  9. HAHAHAH! 8) Thats hilarious. But yes i agree BORAM. The Refs have been pretty sloppy at points, but sometimes fans start to get a little frustrated with the penalties called against their team, and stop realizing the other team is still getting some as well. Many calls I've seen this year have been VERY questionable and some have been called well. But I know what you're seeing and I hope it will improve.
  10. The guy from Legacy. Randy Wilson with 201 yards i think and 4 touchdowns... Or Jacoby Turner from HJ with 4 touchdowns as well after replacing Trey Burrell.
  11. That's a terrible excuse to blame any reason for how much worse had BC done with the regular running back in. HJ lost both starting corners very early in the season, Burrell was hurt most of the game, and HJ had lost their Middle linebacker midway through the week that had most tackles on defense. I do give credit to the runningback but obvoiusly its not bad to have him in if hes better than everyone else. BC is doing a great job on helping their kids remained focused to come out and play after being devastated by a hurricane. For you 92, you're throwing out some bad excuses as well. Had BC done this, had BC done that... I could well enough be saying had HJ not got that QB touchdown called back, had HJ not had 4 penalties in a row...But we aren't. The game was won 41-14 in HJ's favor, and had the game been played again this week I don't think much of a difference at this point in time. BC has alot of more young players again this season, and i think will be the tougher team maybe next year or the year after. Hopefully hurricanes will leave EVERYONE alone in this area and no excuses can be brought about next year.
  12. Even if Trey isn't 100%, HJ still has a fantastic backup Turner that ran 4 amazing touchdowns last week.
  13. HJ has all their confidence. They win this one
  14. IMO, I don't think you can put in Jasper with the disappointment category...True, it looks disappointing because they don't have a good looking record right now, but they have played extremely tough games lately and they have been close in score. Vidor is definitly a decent surprise this year.
  15. What Quarterback is BC coming out with in this game. Is it the one that started the game with last year?
  16. That's very true. I'm only predicting Cleveland cause I like their running game. But if anyone has a shot against Cleveland its definitly Huffman.
  17. Vidor will be all over Ozen's doo doo
  18. Jags are better defensively and will match up well against Lumberton's offense. Lower scoring game, but I gotta take the Jags by 2 TD's with Central ending in a big play on defense.
  19. what??? they got chuck norris or something??? HAHAHA! I think Scooter just doesn't wanna expose his secret so NS doesn't come on here and look at his thought and make their gameplans around it
  20. Hah, a 33-6 score isn't really a close game. Maybe it just looks like it when WOS is usually just shutin everyone down ;D. But its just that Silsbee-WOS mentality I think and it'll be another good game like always between them. I say WO-S a little more than the last two years against Silsbee.
  21. Newton, I think has a great quarterback. he can release the ball with huge speed and the receivers did a nice job catching the ball all night. 1 interception that the QB for the Eagles threw was a terrible decision. he chunked it up in the air for grabs . If you're stopping one of Newton's main plays, they are coming at you with another one in different formations.
  22. Finally someone thats giving us some respect. HJ barely lost to Newton even though the score looks worse than the game was played because of an interception return by newton at the very end. But it seems since HJ had gotten close to Newton that people want to say they are not looking as good. Newton had barely lost to a Great 3A team (Diboll) and HJ was close to Newton. I think they have a shot if they can keep their momentum up.
  23. The 'Poles' themselves didn't get the damage but the lights at the top did. Some were broke and all were facing different ways. But they got them facing the field again and repaired the damaged ones.
