HJ is looking pretty legit right now. They lost in the pool play first game against Diboll by 1 touchdown. Afterwards they beat Kirbyville, Newton, and then Diboll. Carthage was a good team though. they have athletes on both defense and offense.

Tyler may be a bit too egotistic. He is a good player, but him thinking the move from HS to Pro is a bad decision. College would be a much better attribute to attend than going straight to Europe pros. He wouldn't even dominate college. He would be an average center his freshman year or a decent powerforward. thats about it.

The tournament should be close to over. I know the final four teams were hardin, Kirbyville, Anahuac, and 2nd East Baptist.

i tried to figure out scores, but it was hard to get them from people since very few went and also sat on the other side. HJ lost to Hardin 34-6 (?) HJ beat anahuac 27-14 (?) liberty beat anahuac and their JV im pretty sure. and EC lost to hardin

I am going for Cleveland. and they are down 1 as of right now. 107-106. 14.7 left in 4th. However i think every single foul except 1 on Dwight Howard have all been terrible calls by the refs.

Blake Venable, Sean weldon, and will anderson were 3 other players that got more PT along with Philip, Jacoby, Grayson, and Garret. You add Joseph Persohn, Shaun Prudhome, James Morrison and Cale Corbello from the JV team and Freshmen team. Plus Trent Nobles got a legit amount of PT in the early part of the season. Philip, Grayson, Trent and Sean are straight Basketball players so expect them to gain more experience in Coach Sutherlands offseason. HJ will not suffer as much on the rebounding side as much next year.

every game next year for 21-3a should be rather close games. scores will be reflected by injuries but if injuries stay low for all teams I think they will be mostly close scores overall. IMO!!

Silsbee has some good looking athletes in middle school coming up. But HJ's haven't impressed me too much at this stage. I predict HJ's program going through a rebuilding year in 2-3 years 8) HJ will not be going through a rebuilding progress while Coach Sutherland, Davis, and Lee are there. Sutherland is a great off-season coach and he seems to pull whatever he can out of the kids and get them to a good level of playing. Thats crazyy. 2010 class was district champs, 2011 class went undefeated freshmen year, and 2012 (now freshmen) went undefeated in district i believe. Sorry, no rebuilding anytime soon ;D

HAHA! that is true. And most of us are pulling out the "shoulda, woulda, coulda" While you are just using the cold-hard facts. The thing is that Region 3 has not made it happen in the past as much as all the other regions. Silsbee and HJ WOULDA matched up against Madison quite well, but the thing is they failed to get past the team that beat them. Estcado really shot poorly against HJ after missing plenty of open three's that they should've hit. HJ's defense wasn't near as good as it was throughout the whole 2nd half of the playoffs. Next year though, Region 3will bring back a title ;D

Louisville no doubt. But UNC is in there too I'd have to say.Louisville just has wayyy too many weapons and depth. Mcgee has a good three shot, but when terrance williams gets hot, he is unstoppable. they are also on a 10 game winning streak i beleive.

They are definitly on the best hot streak right now with all the top seeds losing except for them. Terrance Williams is playing unstoppable defense and Earl Clark is crazy on offense. I think UNC or Duke in a close 2nd. Pitt doesn't deserve to be in top 3 after the loss to WVU. Syracuse has earned alot of respect from me though. They have great class and Devendorf is cold.

College basketball really has been crazy this year are far as the ranks go. As soon as someone steps up to the 1 or 2 seed, them seem to not live up to it. Louisville is on a crazy hot streat right now and IMO should be number 1 very soon. Williams is on FIRE!! and yea sorry about this being mega off-topic. But Duke I think is starting to pick it back up. They had a little bit of a down-time for a small streak there
