  1. HF always had some respect starting off. But if BC can keep a game close with silsbee im almost sure HF can keep it close and atleast get some scores. Close game HF 12 Silsbee 27
  2. Nah HJ going to be all over dem boys next year.
  3. Hamshire didn't show much class out their either IMO. They came dancing onto the Hawks field before kickoff and they had many flags to come with it. After the game they didn't seem too happy though.
  4. Oh, I know E.C. and Hamshire has a pretty decent rivalry. HJ and HF is a good current one though for the past couple years in my opinion. I used to love playing Buna back in the day when they were in the same district with HJ ;D
  5. Only proves how bad the economy is getting and how much time people actually just have to work on those friday nights as well. Cause i know poeple love football when the superbowl is getting the most views ever on Television.
  6. HJ has got to quit letting those few big plays kill them on either special teams or sometimes defense. That one big play always hurts them for just a little bit, but they usually rebound. If the Hawks don't allow many big plays I think they'll have a great game
  7. Hamshire didnt come capture ours before this Monday luckily ;D . I've heard many good stories of the PN-G : Nederland Rivalry of kids going to the other school and doing stuff way back in the day.
  8. JTown's Mission before coming on to setxsports: Im'a hop on this website, and talk as much crap using metaphors. heheh ;D
  9. no way you're crazy. I think PNG can put up a tough game however. If PNG stops the turnovers...I think u could come out being correct. I'm seriously doubting it though.
  10. HF hasn't really been the Big play kind of team. I think they are more of a consistent team. But Hawks do let up big plays every now and then. HJ though does do Big plays alot so it may come out being a high scoring game. who knows
  11. thank you for sayin that..i dont know why even people are considering hf winning im mean seriously can any one stop jacoby turner or trey burrell..does any team have a kicker punchin 40 yarders like its nothing? HJ WINS HANDS DOWN Stay HJ faithful man, don't get cocky now. Thats exactly what they dont need to start doing after going 3-7 the previous year. Wait till after its all said and done.
  12. That's a little harsh . It is a big game though, its kind of deciding whos going to playoffs or not.
  13. Not taking anything away from him, played soccer against him... As a former kicker I can tell you this... Game situation and practice are 2 MAJORLY DIFFERENT things... I hit 50's in practice everyday, but when you have everyone else out there and have people coming after you, makes things alot harder... But it's good to hear he's doing good so far... I know you can't be taking anything away from him. A highschool kid kicking above 50 yrds at any point is a major accomplishment i think. I'm sure he's going off to college and i think with a little help from the coaching staff's there, his technique can get only better.
  14. I agree, I know it doesn't come from week 0 itself, but overall I think Vidor is a team continuing to improve since week 0 as well.
  15. good job coop 8)
  16. Stu Flowers from HJ is a pretty decent kicker. Hes made 3 fieldgoals this season. Missed two far attempts, but he can boot the ball.
  17. Coop you know you want the HJ-HF game to be game of the week ;D
  18. This HJ and HF game is huge this week for either team
  19. I'm just ready for that Newton Vs. Kirbyville game ;D ... too bad its all the way in week 10 lol
  20. Kountze won't be able to stop Anahuac's running game. But I do think Kountze will get in the endzone some too. Close one with Anahuac scoring late winning by 13
  21. Game of the Week Cough Cough ;D
  22. Two games ago, in a Bridge City vs WO-S thread and still arguing about that game. Thats definitly irrelevant to this thread. Come on guys, I know ya'll are more mature than that.
  23. thats truely unbeliveable...i can't believe almost ALL his picks are on the dot and soo close. Good job brah
  24. yea i know . I still think they put in the skill guys at linemen and the big guys at tailback haha
  25. I would not say you are great, I would say you guys are good at basketball. The Boston Celtic's of old were great. Never said you would give up in football. Everyone know that basketball is No. 1 in HJ. I was being sarcastic in the previous post. I still think the Bobcats will prevail. so if we are just good what does that make yall...??? I would say not bad. We used to be a easy win but not anymore. We are catching up. Not there yet but we did make the playoffs and we did win our bi-district game so we must be heading in the right direction. We are not on HJ's level yet but give it time. Times are changing. Orangefield 28 HJ 14. Same score as 1979. As much as i really think that won't even be close to the score, I would definitly bow down to you and hail you...lol ;D
