Baytown Lee and QB Jeremy Moses knocked off Katy Cinco Ranch 34-21 in the semi-finals of the Houston Texans SQT to advance to the 7 on 7 state tournament. Beaumont Ozen won a thrilling 47-40 shootout with Houston Stratford to secure another trip to the state tournament as well, in 2005 Ozen was knocked off in the round of 16 at the state tournament. State qualifying will take a two week hiatus and get fully ramped up on May 27 as 10 more spots to the state tourney will be up for grabs with qualifiers at Cypress Falls, Texas City, Round Rock, Granbury and Colleyville Heritage, texasprepxtra will have each qualifier covered fully as only we can do!
