North Shore is a NCAA college factory. They run one best summer workouts and offseasons in the state and they rival one of an elite Division I school. For them to be sucessfull in the playoffs is to do what they do and hope for a lucky draw when it comes to playoff matchups.

This is going to be a good game. A great Matchup. I feel that both teams are going to make a deep playoff run. I hope they dont bang each other up too bad with 6 games to go after it. I have watched both teams and have followed them this season and last. In my honest opinion and a unbiased opinion, Nederland wins 28-21. Great defenses will be made but Nederland can and has shown that they can stop the Slot T offense.

Speed is a great thing to have. Discipline and heart are a better combination. Having seen both teams in action, it will be a good homecoming for the Hornets.

This team looks better then the 2003 State Championship team

Kountze is more afraid of Hardin then Hardin is of them.

Hardin will win, Friday night we be close but Kountze can't beat them. Hardin is Scrappy

Evadale can win if the put the ball in the air. Ridge will be back so it will be a close game

I think the team that plays the hardest and makes the fewest mistakes will win the game.

They will need them healthy, Vidor looks good this year

Hardin will win this one by a landslide, maybe Hull-Daisetta would be better if they had H-D Bobcat 55 playing for them. Oh well, This Saturday look for H-D Bobcat to post that it was a conspiracy that Hardin won.

Despite a good 7-3 season it was no playoff for the Lions. I hear the QB is back so are they going to get one of the top four spots this year?

With so many new head coaches in the area lets hear how their doing. How's Anahuac, West Hardin, Burkeville, Kounze, Warren, Hardin, Beaumont Kelly, any of those would be nice

Come on not to be rude but can we have some threads on other schools and not the only known universe known as Hull-Daisetta? Come lets hear about other east Texas schools and how their going to do

I am from the Liberty area and it's never good to bash coaches. I tire or seeing comments about Liberty head coach and now Hardins former coach. It seems that most of smaller schools in the area have had head coaching change. Coaches are most always there for the kids. Haynes did good things, Fortune will do good things. I wish this thread could have been more about the good things to come or the good things that were done, not bashing anyone for what they did or did not do. Both men are good men. I promise that they don't go on public forums and blast the community and parents of things they have seen or may have not scene. Post some positve things. Our kids and students read these boards. :)

Thank you for your opinion. I am not defending what happend. I am saying as an educator and coach it is our job to teach education and life lessons, even more though today because the majority of the kids are not getting much discpline at home, probably due to the fact the more and more kids are having kids. I called a parent the other day about their childs behavior at school and the parent responded that her child was my problem while at school.  >:(

yes the district is right to fire him, but I am thinking your not in education

bad decision by the coaches but, life lessons need to be taught. We are here for the kids, we have to teach life lessons. I assume the kids didn't get punished for their actions. Sad day for education
