tonights game will be mud, about 4 billion below zero, and hopefully the freezing rain will continue. With conditions like this, things look very much like the end of the season last year... it will be interesting to see the turn out. show up and support if u dont mind your fingers and toes getting frostbitten off

The first time anyone has ever gotten my name right. even in the enterprise it was fieldler. And joe doesnt know how to spell it (feedler) after 3 years with him

this has been the most argumentative forum i have seen. I wanna say about all those arguments of joe and biffle and hanks and horning, i have played with all of them. Hanks has incredible skills above the other three but is a little slow. horning i think is good all around, especially 1v1 defense, but still give the quickffeet to hanks. Biffle and joe have the speed, and when i play with joe i think he can see the field very well and i click with him, but he is still below horning and hanks with skill, above them with speed. Biffle, when i played with him had great speed but a touch about thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis long, and his finishes could use some work. that was before hs soccer so he may have gotten better, havent played with him for 5 or 6 months but still play with the other three.

Not an excuse, just a reason. And thomas did hold it down and put 2 away. we couldnt finish. But, except for a game i played in snow in ohio (I used to live there) that was the worst playing conditions i have ever played in. But once again, the bad field is the reason we lost, not an excuse for losing

zach clark has great handling and placement/power. unfortionately he needs to get both placement and power cuz now he can either smash it or put it with accuracy, when he can use both he will be a more than decent offensive threat. Also slightly hesitant in games but will be good witth more confidence

Are there any OFFICIAL rankings for teams in the golden triangle. not by 4a or 5a, but every highschool soccer team in the golden triangle area?

You're probly thihnnkin or ryan clark. I dunno his number either but i played select with him and he plays a center mid for nederland. was it a shorter guy with short hair?

It wasnt even a kelly person that started to talk about kirby first. but i totally agree. Even if kirby was the best in the world (which im not saying he is), kelly is not a 4-a school, and he should not be mentioned in a 4-a forum

I am one of those loyal followers of joe. and i agree totally with what shark said, however, just because joe has not taken a team of misfits to the top does not mean he couldnt. The way joe's seasons with kelly have gone since he has gotten there have been great, giving no need for a turnaround. While Joe might not have made an enourmous turnaround for kelly, i do think he should be awarded some amount of points for keeping them where they are. And i will say again Im not disagreeing wit shark that a good coach maybe be shown by making lots out of little, but its also something to take something and continue to work that will, even with seniors graduating

I totally agree with WB. they could be so much better with some coaching too. And to any lumberton ppl. You didnt have the right players, it was a scrimmage, you were early in the season. I will give you all that, but you are acting like we were at our peak when we played you and stayed that way. I acknowledge that you have gotten better, but we have too. A rematch would be good

Im not saying that what you said isnt true, but kelly costs about $7500 a year. 500 wouldnt seem to do too much. also just curious how long ago was this scholarship offer?

bon mot. Im not sayin kelly does or does not recruit because there may be someone at sometime that has been recruited, but like jcb said, this year is all bonified private school kids. and if you know joe fontana well enough for him to say "I recruit", then you know him well enough to tell when hes not serious. but once again, im not posting this to say whether or not kelly recruits, but i can tell you that THIS year kelly (3-1 district) is a solid team, with zero "scholarships"

Youre right thats my fault. I messed that up. i dont really remember the game but why do you say 4/5? and as far as a scrimage goes, i can understand tryin not to get hurt but you should always play hard as you can. and i wouldnt mind another game

i agree with shark, and stogie does have a good ten, but he communicates well with them and has made some very decent saves. but i have never seen anyone flop more in all my life than nathan stockie

also would like to point out that kelly did not have any substitutions until 73 minutes into the game. That credit goes a hundred percent to joe fontana, for runnin us till we puke

Kirby and kelly are not 4a. but we can still hang. i think our population is a little over 400, but we have wins like: Lumberton 5-0, LCM7-0, Nedcerland 3-0. if you consider size, kelly is amazing

yeah i dont know if wb and kelly will play. We need to though. it has been a tie for the past 2 years, and with terrible refs last year.

especially considering the first time we played them they were missing their started and we won 5-1. with their starter it was 5-0. Im not sayin anything about that started though. i dont know his name but number7 for SPX is a smart player with good skill, but not one man can carry a team always

yeah some scores might be off because of starting players or refs, but 7-0? i think kelly would dominate against lcm anytime. o and did u know we only had 2 starters in at the end of the game and one noyt in position? the rest was second string

Kirby missed state semi-finals freshman year because he was sponsored to go play in mexico by nike... does yeah yeah or linthicum or anybody else done anything like that?
